Where's the HATE, Colorado fans?!

I check this forum weekly just to keep tabs on Big 12 North news.

Here's what I've seen . . . the hatred of Nebraska and Colorado State has waned and that rage is replaced by dispirited commentary about the 2010 football season.

Honestly, it's unbecoming. I miss the anger. I miss the pissing matches. I miss the insults.

Let me kick this off for you: Tear yourselves away from your all-organic shade tree fair trade soy double macchiato and set down the vegan scone that was lovingly prepared just around the corner. You hipster, wannabe, Cliff Bar chewing, local theatre production attending, Pabst Blue Ribbon sipping, excuses for football fans need to kick things up a notch.

Go Big Red.

(also, I post this with the best of intentions.)

I reserve my hatred for anybody who honestly believes Evangeline Lilly is hotter than Yvonne Strahovski.

Mike, I was enjoying that until PBR. You missed your mark there. Otherwise, well done.

Oh and **** you

the hate will be back, eventually. we are currently in group counseling to treat our feelings of extreme self-loathing. if this doesn't work, we'll go with heavier doses of drugs.

It is April. We are currently hating Pine beetles, San Jose, Utah, California baseball, Selous, coach McDumbass, Daddy Hawk and many more. You will have to wait your turn.

Hate turns inward after 4 years of sub-.500 football and no new coach on the horizon.

Let us get a new regime up there and we'll start projecting it out again.

Coach Juicebox has taught us that hate is a terrible emotion that will destroy us.

Football is so much more fun when you don't care about wins or loses. The real joy of football is simply watching everyone try to do their best to become the best citizen athletes that CU has ever produced.

don't you ever talk about PBR like that again you sheep ****er. Now, go back to playing nebraska's favorite game, "who can fit the most corncobs"

Good point. I'm off the peak, but far from a valley. It's cool.

Come on now, no way a Buff is drinking PBR with the quality of the micro-brews we have here in Colorado. We have more breweries per capita than any other state in the nation. Understandable mistake when the average corn town probably considers PBR the "premium" option to go along with your other choices of Bud Heavy and generic cans marked "Beer".

No you don't.

That would be Montana, Oregon, Maine, and Vermont.

That said, I wish Nebraska had more. We're improving . . . and Lincoln has a great beer selection. In fact, I'm drinking a St. Bernardus Abt 12 at the moment. Highly recommended.

I imagine that stat is not counting homebrewing operations as craft breweries, which they are.
How on earth would you count all homebrewers? Send out a survey? If you brewed beer 5 years ago but haven't since are you still a homebrewer? Not to mention I've had way more bad experiences with homebrewed beer than good experiences. Give me a good microbrew or import any day.

Technically, Colorado produces the most craft beer in the country. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=1006040503940

With respect to the lack of hate, we're saving it all for Coach Juicebox. Once Juicy Fruit is out of here, we'll turn our loathing back to Larry the Cable Guy and the other genius Nebraska fans.

Hate is not the Coach CareBear way. His zen presence has simply sucked the life force out of the Buff Nation Mac built and left a shell of a once proud, piss bomb throwing, insult hurling B12 competitive fanbase, lying emotionless on the turf, holding our 1990 Orange Bowl game programs in our hands praying we somehow get through this seemingly endless Hawk induced night.......

I guess, as this thread indicates, there's always beer. Thank god.

It takes a special type of redneck to think PBR is a yuppie beer or somehow fits in with any of the other stuff mentioned.

Hipsters are more prone to be metro students hanging out on 16th street mall. Boulder has its own unique type: the trust fund hippie.
