117 days...

maintaining optimism

3 and half months, really? I need a new hobby/charity/job to take my mind off that slow-approaching moment

til opening kick off...im starting to lose it!

The question is are you starting to lose it because you are so excited for the season to start, or are you starting to lose it because the season is so close to starting and we are gonna suck so bad?

i'm actually starting to dread it. i have never felt more embarrassed driving around a car with two cu stickers than i did last year.

In general, I'm an optimist, but reality has not been good. That's why I have enjoyed the off-season more than the actual season more in the last two years. I think that the 117 days can't take long enough...

I have enjoyed this offseason and it is due to the expansion/realignment chatter that took my mind off the suckage that is CU football. I am usually amped up for football this time of the year but I'm far more amped up about the Broncos than the Buffs this year.

After July 1st (and the 4th of July) passes, I will start warming up for the Buffs and drinking that golden koolaid.

This is the only CU Football Forum thread I've read in a long time and I only did that to see how many of you ****sticks were actually excited to see us lose to CSU for the second straight year. At least this time I don't have to see it happen in our own Folsom ****ing Field.

Do you know what ****ing sucked last year (besides our football team)? The multiple Facebook Event parties I would be invited to every week that said, "Our football teams sucks, so if you don't want to go to the game, come on over and party with our kegs and watch some real football." Those are CU students saying this. CU students who I have gone to games with in the past. Yeah, I wish they were better more loyal fans, but I also wish on a few weekends that I chose to go to the party instead. I'd like to see a team that actually looked like they were trying to win.
