scare tactics abound.....

So we wait.

Each day gives Baylor another opportunity to marshal its political forces and gives Colorado another day to float silly scenarios like eyeing a jump to the Mountain West.

Each day gives Missouri and Nebraska fans more time to hope Notre Dame decides by June 15 to stand alone so they can say they finally stuck it to Texas.

The worst-case scenario for Nebraska would be to say no thanks to the Big 12, allow the Big 12 South schools to start negotiating with the Pac-10, only to see Notre Dame ultimately change its mind, land in the Big Ten, and leave Nebraska with the not-so-unthinkable scenario of joining Missouri, Colorado, Kansas and Kansas State in the Mountain West.

Chip clearly has an agenda. He turns his nose up to the North schools, yet revels in Baylor's political clout. Hard to take partial observers/reporters seriously.

EDIT: Take a look at his tweets in the past day or two. The guy is a Longhorn through and through. I will now dismiss any biased garbage he throws out there.

More proof...listening to Chip Brown's show right now and he's now trying to leverage the MWC's decision to hold off on expansion and turn it into CU "threatening" the B12 that we'll head there if the B12 stays together.

This guy is proving his ass-clowniness, yet I'm still listening...

Really hoping Woelk blows the doors off everyone with his article tomorrow...but WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG FOR HIM TO PUBLISH IT?

Sounds like the hostage taker who tried to hold off the police by putting a gun to his own head and threatening to pull the trigger...

I know they´re Nebraska, but not even they will tell the Big 12 to do one with no other option firmly in hand. It´s so blatantly obvious what Texas is trying to do here.

Riiight. And UT is not threatening anyone with their Pac overtures and subsequent strong-arming?
