Interesting to look at their reaction. Over 1200 people logged in, reaction varies from shock and disbelief (we haven't heard anything official, Brown is a Texas/CU mouthpiece, the politicians won't let it happen, to anger at CU, Cal (discrimination against Baptist), NU for starting the breakup, and interestingly enough most is directed at UT for letting the move happen without Baylor. They are convinced that if Texas had really insisted they would be going along, they are also saying that they should never schedule any of the former south teams again.

Funny, but also kind of looks like us.

I've been following that site the past 2 days, and those folks are delusional.

They are sitting there begging someone to drag them along to the Pac16.

Anyway, site has officially crashed now

Well, their best argument seemed to be "but the other Texas schools are gonna save on travel costs if they can drag us along with them!".

baylorfans is the worst site ever. ads much? you have to scroll down every page/refresh....that doesn't get annoying.

Those guys are absolutely delusional....they're actually talking about trying to see if the SEC will take them and that they would have 6-7 sure wins in the SEC every year.

Any reference to here by you that brings baylor trolls will result in a banning.

i wont mention allbuffs all i was gonna say is we will send you a post card from the pac-16... i dont think they will let me post anyways

At least when Buddy Jones builds his "Baylor-to-SEC campaign", he won't feel compelled to lie about Baylor's academic accomplishments.

That argument makes me  Nothing better to get yourself invited to a new conference than to make an argument that will make it obvious to the current conference members that picking you over the other choice will increase their travel costs. I actually got curious about how far those trips would be, so I ran them through Google Maps:

Distance between schools:
Washington/Baylor 2,170 miles
Washington/Colorado 1,297 miles

Washington St./Baylor 1,988 miles
Washington St./Colorado 1,141 miles

Oregon St/Baylor 2,176 miles
Oregon St./Colorado 1,304 miles

Oregon/Baylor 2,098 miles
Oregon/Colorado 1,223 miles

Cal/Baylor 1,794 miles
Cal/Colorado 1,225 miles

Stanford/Baylor 1,779 miles
Stanford/Colorado 1,263 miles

USC/Baylor 1,418 miles
USC/Colorado 1,035 miles

UCLA/Baylor 1,433 miles
UCLA/Colorado 1,046 miles

ASU/Baylor 1,042 miles
ASU/Colorado 883 miles

U of A/Baylor 935 miles
U of A/Colorado 923 miles

Oklahoma/Baylor 271 miles
Oklahoma/CU 711 miles

Oklahoma St./Baylor 349 miles
Oklahoma St./Colorado 664 miles

Texas/Baylor 102 miles
Texas/Colorado 951 miles

Tech/Baylor 355 miles
Tech/Colorado 568 miles

aTm/Baylor 91 miles
aTm/Colorado 971 miles

Total miles: Baylor 18,101
Total miles: Colorado 15,205

Basically bringing in Baylor instead of CU involves almost 3,000 extra miles of travel for each complete cycle of visits to/from Waco over Boulder. And THAT was one of their better arguments for getting in....  I was a bit surprised to see that Tech would be our closest conference rival, geographically... Actually, they really aren't that many miles farther away than Stinkoln is....

They do seem to be warming up to the idea of going to the MWC though, although there are TCU fans posting that the MWC now has much bigger options with Boise, KU, KSU, ISU, and Mizzou.

Got the feeling reading over there last night that Baylor and TCU fans don't share a great deal of agape' love for one another, the way good Christian brothers should...

If the MWC pisses on Bailer's head too, I actually will start feeling sorry for them. They were total butts about CU, but they don't deserve to get passed over by the MWC.... :smile2:

At this point, I'd love to see this blow up in Buddy Jones'/Kenneth Starr's collective smug faces. Denied entry to the MWC? Awesome. Before this week, I bore no animosity toward Baylor, but those ****ers started a falsehood-laced smear campaign. **** them.

If you start to feel sorry for Baylor, I'll start feeling sorry for you for being such a big sappy labia.

I would expect you to. After all, nobody knows better what it's like to be a big sappy labia than you.... :smile2::smile2:

Do you know who Baylor hates more than anyone....the goddamn Aggies. It seems that for years, Aggie males have raided Waco for the Baptist hotties.....
