Colorado's Football Schedule 2012 & Beyond

In 2012 & 2013 CU plays csu in Denver & home & away series w/Fresno St, Minnesota & Utah.

CU in the Pac 16 will have to dump one of those teams as 3 out of conference games will be max.
I say dump the FSU series.

In 2013 CU is slated to play csu in Denver, at Oregon and home against Hawaii.
In 2014 CU plays at Hawaii, against Washington at home and csu in Denver.

Both Oregon & Washington will have to be cancelled.

I think Colorado knowing how tough the conference will be (OU, Texas, A&M and so forth)
needs to make the out of conference paert of the schedule easy. csu isn't going away so play them along
with teams like Utah St, New Mex St and San Jose St. No reason to be playing games against
the likes of LSU, Michigan, Wisconsin and so forth. I enjoyed the Nebraska rivalry but don't want any part of them in the future.

getting ahead of yourselves here. Need to know for sure if it's Pac12, Pac14, Pac16 and what exactly the in-conference schedule will be. With what is likely in the college landscape, I would suggest that 2012 schedules are all written off by everyone and the scheduling will begin anew again.

Keep kNU. Like the SEC (and the big XII back when the north didn't suck)... losing a game or 2 isn't a killer.

. Kansas and K-State are more feasible, sprinkle in the occasional Iowa State and Mizzou (we still owe them) and I'm good

yeah, I'm not sure if we going to be playing the Big 8 leftovers. Probably some hurt feelings on their side which is understandable.

We still need to know how many teams will be in this conference. I can't believe they'll stop at 11, but what if they do? If they go beyond 11, who gets added? Utah? Texass? A&M? Lots of things still to be hashed out before we can start talking about future scheduling.

I'm not going to even worry about future scheduling. I'm just basking in the glow of this move for now. I'm giddy.

exactly- don't want any part of KU, Kst, Iowa St, Mizzou as they will be pissed & probably have a little "csu syndrome" if they played CU-

Dump the Minn game, Fresno State gives us the advantage of another California game and exposure for recruiting, god knows we need it. At least today we make national headlines for something positive and maybe some of those California kids that have CU on their radar all of sudden jumped up and took notice. By the time they are Jr. Sr.'s they will be getting some home time perhaps.

I don't think we can think about it until the dust has settled. I'm sure there are out clauses in the contracts if there are conference shifts.
