Kiszla new bitter article: Hawkins better start winning

Kizsla sucks. he's always going to rag CU and, amazingly, Hawk is an easy target and Mizzou is going to end up in the Lousiana Purchase Conference with Tulsa and the Kangaroos of UMKC....after whining they don't get the TV revenue of Texas or Oklahoma. sucks to be Missouri. i hope KU jumps them to the Big 10, Pac or Big East....and I hate KU.

Kizla is a bitter turd who does not merit my or any Buff's attention. Let him die on the vine like his alma mater...Kis--go get the CUSA scoop for your tiggers.

As tempting as it might be to open that link, I'm not going to add my eyeballs to his click count.

I added a comment. There are only 2 so far. Neither complimentary of Kiszla.

I don't know what the better strategy is as a Buffs fan. Should we leave it alone when we see crap about the Buffs or should we respond? I know that responding may actually encourage the morons by giving them attention / viewership numbers. But leaving it alone and quietly taking abuse has been something we Buff fans have been doing too much of ever since the witch hunt stories broke and the teams started losing. It's time to show our Colorado swag again, imo, and stop taking any ****.

Thanks for stating the obvious, Jizzla.

My old man has a saying that I've picked up and feel is appropriate for Jizz...

"NOTHING IS OBVIOUS TO THE UNINFORMED." :smile2:

Kizla has always been a guy trying to get a rise out of local sports fans, but I have to admit in the last year, he has become completely illogical in many of his columns.

There's a reason I cancelled my subscription to the Denver Post several years ago - Mark Jizla. If I didn't want to read his crap then, what makes you think I want to read it now? I won't be clicking that link.

The more we click, them more it shows up on the POST site as a "most viewed" article and more people find it.
I am willing to happily ignore any story that other readers tell me has no new information, no insight, no redeeming qualities.

I am not willing to waste any of my time trying to understand why a "reporter" (and I use that term loosely in this case) goes after a local university for football decisions.

Kizla is a piece of ****, f' his Tigers.

I actually grad from Missouri State U, (family was born and raised in Grand Junction, lifetime buffs fan) so I hope Mizzou gets flushed down the toilet. I've never seen more arrogant fans who have done absolutely nothing in their history. I'm going to enjoy watching them flail in their final throws of relevance.

Far be it from me to defend him, because I think he is a total ass, but I really don't disagree with what he said. It is now time for CU to stop whining and start winning. I've got no problem with that. But, yeah, he is a douche. Especially if you ever hear him interviewed. I don't know what it is about him: the sound of his voice, his mannerisms, etc. When he speaks, he kind of stammers.

UMKC doesn't have a football team. Most KU fans think MU is getting just what they deserved. I don't know who I'm going to hate now that the Huskers are gone? USC sounds like a top candidate. Lane Kiffin is a cocky little turd, reminds me of Tony Hayward.

I don't know if anyone read the letters to Kiszla today. If you did, you probably popped a cork as I did. Not only with him, but a couple of his dumbassed letter writers. He is obviously more interested in getting a rise out of readers than he is in fact and/or writing logical, informative, and good articles.

Kizla article

why do people never mention recruiting? Success is all about recruiting. If you can bring in enough good players all of a sudden the coaches become brilliant. The big twelve south was rigged for the south schools. People seemed to be shocked that the south was such a better division. Texas, cali and florida are ther recruting hotbeds. If you can recruit those states you win. Texas high school players wanted to b close bye where there families could see them etc... The south was taylor made for that. CU gets a lot of its players from cali. If Cu can recruit Cali well, they win. By going to the P10 cu automatically starts getting more of those cali kids. If you start recruting better you win. think about how many close calls in recruting that cu has lost to oregon, arizona schools, ucla etc... Alfred Williams know this. thats why he was so freakin happy with the move. the key is bringin in enough good players what atrition doesnt hurt you as much. some atrition is going to happen no matter what you do.

What Kizla forgets and is to lazy to look up is that Colorado has traditionally been a team that plays with the top end of college football, not the mid-majors and the bottom. We have sucked under Hawk, no question but the prior three coaches all won the conference and played in BCS level bowl games. Throw out the Fairbanks era and you have a record of successful competition back into the late 1960's. There is no reason that with the right coach and some support from the admin that CU can't be right back in the top end of college football again.

But to include this would mean that Kizla has do actually do a little research instead of pulling stupid ideas out of his backside.

I didnt see where he mentioned the recruting scandal either. That had a huge impact on recruting. How many north teams have won the big twelve?

Alfred Williams also thinks that the PAC should invite SDSU over Utah.
