Western Kentucky, Idaho, South Dakota State......

They're in competition with KjSU to see who can have the best lineup of cupcakes. :lol:

normally, i give Darth Snyder his due when it comes to the two line highway schools in the midwest....but i'm impressed with this set of cupcakes. wow.

i think they lose either at Wash, at KSU or at OSU. they seem to think they will roll Texas in Mausoleum Stadium, but I don't know about that. UT is going to be for real on D, and I'm not sure NU will be able to score enough to win. which is to say, the D advantage NU will have in most games....won't be here....and UT will be better on O than NU.

i see NU losing 2 conference games. maybe 3 overall. just not sold on it. we heard the Big Red is Back stuff before Cally's last year, too.

I bet you will not find many HUSKER fans that are happy with these OOC games.

We have none other the former AD that shall remain nameless to thank for setting up those OOC games.

talk about a pathetic OOC. makes a Mike Leach OOC look like murderer's row.

You are like a slanted reporter trying to skew the facts.... I am not a fan of them either but at least list all of the non-conference games... The last oen does help a little....

sorry bro, i'm not slanting anything. my point is to list the cupcakes, i give them @UW as a decent game.....i felt comfortable leaving it out. do teams play 3 OOC games? no, they don't. how could i possibly be trying to suggest they only play 3 games OOC.

overact on your part, i thinks.

Yes my reaction was WAYYYYY overboard.... I apologize... Ill tone it down some...

I don't know, UW is pretty crappy. Sure they might be getting better with the new coach but it's hard to argue with their W/L recently:

5-7
0-12
4-9
5-7
2-9
1-10
6-6
7-6

Makes our team look great.

Not entirely true, your current AD will also be scheduling a fair share of cupcakes.

I actually think that their OOC schedule is the norm... schedule 2 cupcakes, schedule a BCS, and schedule a "mid-major," which would be Idaho in the Mountain WAC conference....

Could be, the next few years look like this:

2011
Fresno St.
Washington
@Wyoming

2012
Southern Miss.
@UCLA

2013
Wyoming
@Southern Miss.
UCLA

2014
Fresno St.
Miami (Fla.)

And on this list the current AD only scheduled a part of 2013 and all of 2014. These schedules are worked out years in advance at Nebraska and for that matter probably Colorado too.

Good Luck in the 12-Pac

Udub is on the rise, they will go bowling this year. Locker is a stud.

And as far as Texas, Nebraska WILL beat Texas.

Idaho is a good team. Well, a decent team. I love their HC and his scary voice. They won a bowl game last year, something Hawkins hasn't done here.

WKU is perhaps the weakest FBS team in the country, and no teams should be playing FCS schools. And they damn sure better not lose to them.

Washington just might beat them. I would not be surprised at all. GO HUSKIES

I wouldn't even call Idaho decent, Steele has them ranked 101st. As for WKU, they're ranked 119th out of 120 teams, so yes they are indeed one of the weakest in I-A. And South Dakota State is division I-AA.

Idaho is not very good, Nu will trounce them

I won't pretend to know what Idaho brings back from last year, I was going based off of last year (a year in which they won an exciting bowl game). I won't talk too much trash about any team that wins any bowl game.

I do know that Idaho beat Colorado State last year..............................

Certainly no real tests there. But 3 wins, and a chance to develop some of the new kids who don't have much experience -- QB especially.

And the game AT Washington will be a good test for them, and for Jake Locker.

I will, half the teams in college football go bowling, Idaha is in a ****ty conference and they are a ****ty team. Probably better than CU because CU didn't go bowling, but Idaho is ****TY!!! HUSKERS ROLL BABY!!!!

Bo Peep still hasn't named a starter, he won't until kickoff. I think Buff fans are familiar with how well that approach works.

I guess NU just doesnt subscribe to the theory of, schedule a couple tough OOC opponents... get crushed... brag about scheduling prowess. Would think this is apparent by now, they just do things a different way. :rolling_eyes:
