UCLA gets stomped at home by Stanford 35-0 to start the season 0-2. He gets on the PA at the stadium after the game and <gasp> accepts responsibility and apologizes to the UCLA fans. Next thing you know UCLA stomps ranked opponents two weeks in a row, including going into Austin and taking the shorthorns to the woodshed with power football. Go figure.

Damn Hawk sucks.

I'm pretty sure we've seen RN's track record, splashes of greatness, a steady stream of underachieving. Given time UCLA will decline into the same undisciplined soft throw-it-on-third-and-one team every RN team eventually does. You do have to hand it to him though for going into the land of the deformed cow and beating the pants off UT.
