Rigged. Choreographed. Whatever.
Bull****.Supposedly the reporter was told he wasn't supposed to come beyond a certain point and he went against orders.
Dang right DBT. If my bestest bud says it's rigged, then it's rigged. If he says Hawk is the bestest coach evar, than you better get with the program mister.
That's right ol bestest bud. You tellem buddy ol pal. I'm with ya all the way. HAWK LOVE! If you don't like Hawk, the terrorist win!You have a bestest bud?
Well, I was wrong. It wasn't staged. Just listened to Klatt. He said Knox was not supposed to run beyond the 40 due to Ralphies lack of training. So, when he got to the 40, BAM!

Note to Knox: quit running with ralphie.
The Ralphie Run is not and should not be your personal moment in the sun.
The only thing better than seeing the ralphie handler deliver the school of hard Knox would have been no Knox at all.
 :yeahthat:
In spite of what he may say, I still contend it was set-up. The way he mugged to the camera at the end convinced me that he was anything but upset about it.
No matter which of the explanations I've heard, that was a bush league move by the Ralphie handler. He lined the guy up from at least 20 yards away to give him a cheap shot. If Knox doesn't turn and see the guy at the last minute, that could have been a devastating hit. I hope that guy feels pretty awesome about himself, handing out cheap shots to middle-aged sideline reporters...
Perspective here.
This guy has a reputation of saying whatever he needs to say to get access to the sidelines and Ralphie. He was told not to go past a specific point, and got jacked because he disobeyed (as usual). Granted, he prolly should have never been allowed to run in the first place, but damn! he deserved it IMO. No (real) harm, no foul.
