Is Cody the Starter next week?

It doesn't.

Better question is will Goodman ever kick again?

If he tries to beat a one legged man in an ass kicking contest maybe? With this staff I wouldnt be surprised if he and CHawk started next week. Mizzou is in our head so bad its ridiculous, we have the, here we go again attitude with them.

Cody's not gonna start next week. Tyler didn't play that bad, i just think Hawk put in Cody hoping for a spark, a change of luck and it didn't work. Tyler will start next week.

He'd better start. He wasn't the problem tonight. 15 for 21

Cody should start. He completed over 60% of his passes. Really moved the ball well for us, too. Tyler had his chance. Just because he completed over 70%, didn't throw a pick, generated more yards per attempt, and had a higher QB rating... all before Mizzou went soft zone... that's no reason to play him over Cody.

Sarcasm duly noted. Tyler was awful. Cody was awful. Coaches were awful.

Tyler certainly wasn't spectacular... but he was AWFUL?! Tyler was painfully average tonight. But this game was lost on special teams and playcalling imo, not the arm of Tyler Hansen.

Oh and Cody played that much better, last time I checked we have got beat 58-0 and 26-0 in the last two in Columbia? Real good endorsement for your boy Hawk, I shouldnt even capitalize that.

We got beat because our coaches, the masters they are, still cant figure out Mizzou after the last 4 ass rapings. Its a head thing and that goes directly to our head coach, sorry Mr Superdad DBT.

Superdad? WTF? Oh. I get it.

With no picks.

I told my dad when Cody came in that I would lay money he throws an INT. He declined because he knew it would happen, too.

Cody's throws were all over the place.

Hansen is better than the other guy and it's not that close. Lots of pressure up the middle in the first half. It looked like they were trying to run the ball out of a spread offense.

If I were DBT or Dan Hawkins I'de probably play my kid too if I was about to get fired. Why not?

Yeah you should get it prick. You wanna tell me more about my life with my son? Dangerous ground but you arent the first that let your mouth run ragged.

That's the sad thing.....NOTHING works with Talkins. He nor is kid are DI material. Why make the change? little Talkins is so slow-footed it makes no sense to bring him in with the pass rush Mizzou was getting. Total joke Talkins...total Joke!

Everyone settle down here. DBT may be a Hawk lover (or former Hawk lover), but he's a solid guy.

I thought Cody was pretty awesome tonight. He was the spark the team needed. Don't forget, the team won 2 road games in 2007 when he was the starting quarterback.

I don't think he panicked, in fact, I think his poise saved the team from some huge sacks. I think the coaching staff didn't put him in a position to succeed. Since they seemed oblivious to the fact that the Mizzou was playing the run after the first couple series and have apparently never heard of the play action pass. Never mind pitching the ball back when you're on the 12, instead of lining up and running north and south.
