EVERY SINGLE PAC 12 ROAD TRIP (THROUGH #11) IS BETTER THAN EVERY B12 ROADIE EXCEPT AUSTIN. Unbelievable. What a day to be a Buff.

Yup. Always said other b-12 teams traveled well to Boulder b/c it's a destination in and of itself. Hard to say that about lincoln, manhattan, ames, lawrence, norman, waco, columbus, stillwater, lubbock or college station. The people who live in those places don't even want to be there.

I agree. I loved the trip to ASU a couple of years ago and had a great time in Berkley (made it almost a week trip with a stop over in Napa). I went to High School in OR and had tons of friends that went to UDub and U of O and OSU (nobody went to WA ST). Cannot wait for Palo Alto for the same reason as Berkley and SoCal is gonna be a fun place to go. All Pac12 roadies beat the hell out the Big 12

1. Rose Bowl (Actual Rose bowl game)
2. Seattle (tailgate on the poop deck!)
3. Palo Alto (curious to see campus. Bay area is nice)
4. Rose bowl (for UCLA game) - beach time
5. Coliseum - more beach time. Piss on Liver's shower.
6. Eugene - Nike U!
7. Berkeley (would be #2 if not for my 2010 trip)
8. Tucson. (later in the season, the better)
9. Pullman (In early oct or sooner)
10. Corvallis (without rain would be nice. Tie-in with Portland brewpub crawl)
11. SLC (only in mid Nov or later for ski trip tie-in)
12. Tempe (@ 2001 Fiesta Bowl city/stadium not so great. Don't like early season 90 degree plus games.)

I'm going to leave the actual Rose Bowl game out of the equation.

1. Palo Alto
2. UCLA
3. Tempe
4. Seattle
5. Eugene
6. SLC
7. Berkely
8. LA Mauseleum
9. Tucson
10.Corvalis
11.Pullman

Seeing as we'll likely be in Palo Alto once every four years, I suspect I'll be at every single one of those games from now until the end of time.

All of 'em except for Arizona State since I've already seen a game there...gotta start working on Pac-12 road trip completion!

I have to admit. During our tenure in the Big 8 and Big XII, I only road tripped to lincoln and Austin (and bowls, of course). In retrospect, I should have made a few other trips, but couldn't motivate myself to visit most of those places. Stillwater?--drove through once...no thank you.

But now? My family (Mom, Sister etc...) lives near Eugene, so U of O and OSU are easy. Can't wait to get to U Dub! I consider San Diego home, so that makes USC and Pasadena easy road trips. My Mom grew up in Santa Cruz and I've got a lot of roots (family and friends) in that area, so I can hit Cal and Stanford easily too.

My wife is an ASU grad, so we may make Tempe.

That just leaves Tuscon and Pullman as "not so easy trips" but we'll see.

This Pac thing rocks!

Seattle.

The household rivalry is already starting.

And for the other member of the household....Boulder.

EDIT: I could actually care less about the Arizona schools. I hate Arizona (the state, not so much the schools).

The other Pac 10/12 member of my household only roots for CU. She doesn't care about ASU.

I know that DD is a good CU fan, but c'mon Buffy, you need to do more to make him forget about his alma mater.

Not gonna happen Wally. I have tried. He already has dreams of non-conceived children wearing purple in Folsom. That won't happen. He has these things called memories about listening to Husky games on the radio when he worked on cars with his dad.

I'm actually thankful we will be in different divisions.

Thanks, but.... won't happen:smile2:

I'm loving that the championship game will be rotating though (at least until Vegas builds a worthy stadium). I could handle going to Vegas for the annual game:nod:

And yeah, any future kids will be sporting purple and gold if they know what's good for 'em...

Seriously won't happen. When these kids (if) are born, they already live in the best state. Why the hell would they wear anything but black and gold?

Well, at least it's U Dub. It's a good school, with a history of a good team. I find them difficult to hate.

Speaking of which:

Folsom Whizzer was coloring the other day and the Armed Forces Network was running it's "State Capital Quiz" on TV. The volume was low, and F.W. seemed in engrossed in her project. Well, the announcer finished the Capital quiz with the answer, which was "Denver, Colorado".

Upon hearing the word "Colorado", Folsom Whizzer looked up, yelled "Go Buffs!" and immediately returned to coloring.

Proud, proud moments.

You, my friend, are a phenomenal dad!

I call the program, "building fans through immersion". She never really stood a chance.

I will have to work especially hard. Is there any scientific evidence that fanhood through osmosis works? I am not above putting a CU banner under my future child's pillow every night.

(don't tell DD)

Since there's no need in my household to be secretive, I just make 'em wear hats.
