Rumors of Tuesday press conference

1. I know that some posters at rivals are reporting (err, posting?) that a coaching change will be made Tuesday. Anyone have info here? And I know some might say it's "inside info" for rivals, but half the stadium was talking about it last night, so it's probably widespread enough that it's not special secreat sauce content.

2. I know that every Tuesday is the weekly CU game week press conference, so may be a whole lot of nothing.

3. Since Cody is the man the rest of the way this year, any chance he bolts if his dad is fired? I think he has more class than that (and I think Dan would discourage him from doing it), but I guess it's a possibility anyway.

Any reason why it can't be discussed here?

I don't think so.

Basically the 6 pages say the same thing we are all thinking:

1)It'd be nice to have hawk gone tuesday.
2)No one can confirm that hawk is gone tuesday.
3)EB and the vikings have an off day tuesday.
4)If it's happening tuesday it's probably mac.
5)There is ALWAYS a press conference scheduled for tuesday.
edit:
6)Most likely this is BS.

Did I miss anything?

Thanks.

Figured it was something along those lines. Oh well, I can hold my patience for two more days. I think.

if Hawk were to be fired Tuesday (which i don't think he will be), i think it's far more likely there's an interim HC like Cabral rather than a permanent hire like Mac or EB.

I would guess that if Mac were to get the job it would be as an interim HC from the outset. I think Mac wants to get his finger back into the game but I don't think at 70 he wants to commit to another career at it.

With that in mind he would come on board with the idea of finishing this year and maybe being HC next year while he grooms one of his guys to take over and then steps back into a consultant position.
