Dear Mr. Riddle,

I hope you enjoy your employment for the next day because your reign as the worst Special Team Coach in College Footall is OVER!

Go into a dark closet, weep, and don't come out until you stop sucking. I anticipate that will be never.

Also you still owe me $7,100 (plus interest) to cover the the blown load that was last season. Thanks for helping to suck the life out of Colorado football.

Hit the bricks dude. As Diego Delgado once said, "You are OUT!"

XXXXXXX,

Thanks for the kind words. I hope to go on to have the same success that other coaches that people like you wanted to leave. You remember Jeff Grimes and Mark Helfrich I assume. Thanks again.

Kent

Kent,

Let's be honest, they weren't kind words. I gave you 4.5 years. I've never witnessed a worse Special Teams unit in major college football. I don't even have time to list the numerous debacles.

You had an amazing second chance when this administration gave Dan Hawkins another lifeline, which he frankly did not deserve. Maybe you will get another. Most people deserve one, but you either need a serious strategic or communication review. Statistically, there is no other way to account for the performance of this unit. Massive sample size, massive boondoggles virtually every game.

If it were not for my successful completion of an Anger Management course, I would have broken at least 25 televisions watching your unit play. I've become utterly disgusted with this program, and since Dan Hawkins isn't accountable to anyone, you are going to take the brunt of it.

Wanting and doing are two very different things. If you have any intelligence (like Grimes and Helfrich), you will go coach somewhere without Hawkins.

I kind of liked his reply. He pointed out that the fans were eager for both Grimes and Helfrich to depart, and that they've both been successful.

He was suggesting that there were other factors that prevented his success here. I wonder what he thinks they are. I wonder if Coach Hawkins is at the top of his list, or if he believes it to be something else entirely.

You should as him. Seriously.

I don't remember anybody ever hoping to see Grimes go. In fact, I think most agreed that he was a pretty decent O-Line coach. Helfrich, OTOH, well, he sucked.

Nice clinic, though.

I think maybe you should consider going back to Anger Management. Also, what's up with the time stamp on Riddle's email?

Wow, a little over the top, but to each his own. I did find it interesting he seems clear on the point that he will be seeking success somewhere else.

Did you write those e-mails to him?
No Drew, it was a friend of a friend. Haven't had the pleasure of meeting him yet, but he's welcome at my tailgate anytime! Riddle might be a decent tight end coach, but having Antonio Gates type production wouldn't make up for the ****-show on special teams.

Riddle has been spending some time on theoretical physics, and may have managed to time travel....

I don't buy this for a second.

The entire coaching staff has been in a bunker avoiding all things negative since the Cal game, and Riddler has already been called out by D2D as having the ability to out coach any other coach in the Americas.

No way does Riddler stick his head out of the foxhole at this point. He is going to need to interview for a new job at the end of the season, and he does not need anything out that says he folded under the pressure of internet fan.

I wonder why coaches and administrations believe message boards are the hight of evil.

Listen, pulling stunts like that is not funny and is not right. It is classless.

Exactly... the e-mail is not something to be proud of and I highly doubt its authenticity.

It would be good if a few of us let coach Riddle know that we aren't all simple minded jackasses who point at the most simplistic explanation of what the problem might be and then let completely disrespectful crap fly. I already emailed him. His email is in the first post. None of us are in the room or know precisely what choices or challenges he may be facing.

Excuse me while I have a moment of silence for the horrific challenges facing the worst special teams coach ever...
