I think Woody is giving Talkins more time as the HC than should be allowed. Not that I agree with him, but he makes some decent points. :smile2:

At least this time, Logan was discussed as not having enough experience to jump right into the HC position at CU. If he comes to CU as an assistant coach, I'm fine with that. if he jumps right into the HC position, I won't be happy.
Les Miles did come to my mind recently...if he is available, CU needs to go after him and Big Mac can consult Les Miles. Does that mean Big Mac's grandson T.C. could follow?
That would be an interesting move. Miles as HC and McCartney as AHC/diplomat/ambassador. Miles will be run out on a rail due to insane LSU fans so why not? He will bring back tough-nosed, run-based teams.

God, get it over McCartney already. He can't save sCUm football it's too late.
I would love Miles, but I think he'll have some better offers than CU if LSU really does let him go. Are the cajuns really crazy enough to fire a guy who has averaged 10 wins a season since he got there?
Yup.

keep losing your big games cornhole. congrats on beating your first ranked opportune in like 30 years and half your wins coming from places like south dakota and idaho.
He was responsible for getting Okie State football going before Gundy.
How do I respond to a fluffalo fan who's team is going on their 6th losing season in a row, has seen their last win of the season by October and has lost to the likes of CSU, Toledo and Montana State? I guess you don't cause sCUm program speaks for itself.
You are 100% correct about the clock management. He would do well at CU - we would have winning seasons, but he's not a championship coach. His best years at LSU were with Saban's players and Pelini as DC. He's a good coach - problem at LSU is good is not good enough. He could win 7 - 8 games a year at CU. Mac is his best friend, and he has been grooming T.C. as a coach. If you watch LSU games,T.C. always has a set of earphones on - every game. He did last year also.I have never seen worse clock management than LSU under Les Miles. Guy would not do too well at CU.
LSU fans have been asking that question for the last 5 years. Is clock management really that hard? Couldn't they just hire some assistant to stand next to him and help him with that?

If he can recruit SEC athletes to CU, we will destroy the Pac-12.
Dude won 51 games in his first 5 years at LSU and is 7-1 right now. I don't care whose players he had, I would take him in a heartbeat. No reservations whatsoever.
