If Cody goes down, Hirschman is our only realistic option. But, that's the only reason the redshirt should be burned at this point.
 
I'd like to see it saved, but if the coaches thought we could save some face, win three more games, and go to a bowl. I'd be good with it. Not that I'd have a lot of confidence that we'd do such a thing under Hawk, but I want to believe we could. I think it would be beneficial to win three more the help our recruiting and incoming coach, than to save his redshirt.
 
In 4 years we will have several recruits with the talent level of Hirschman or above, go ahead and get him in the game now.
 
If Berglund and Sherry are still coming to CU, this may be the best time to get him experience.
 
It's too late in the season for this. Save his eligibility because we're gonna need it in the future. There's no point in trying to salvage the season now. Fire Hawk, his entire staff, and let's start from scratch with a new coach in a new conference next year.
