Any updates on 2011 schedule? Seattle Times has us playing at WU

If true, I'm already planning that trip to Seattle next year!

:woot:

Also curious if they ever finalized the north/south thing and if we will be playing Oregon/Washington teams every year, or if it's a different rotation. Anyone know what's up with all that?

I'll work on setting up the tailgate! This is great as I'd heard rumor we wouldn't be in Seattle next year.

It's UW. Now that we're leaving the Big-8 & 12 behind forever, we'll have to get used to most universities having their acronyms in the same order as the wording of their school name.

Just as long as we avoid playing at Oregon for as long as possible till we get our stuff together - can anyone fathom what a bloodbath that would be this season?

Yeah, they prefer U-Dub. I finally have a reason to go to husky stadium. The place looks old but the view is awesome.

schedule is out!!

Besides Oregon, the Buffaloes will host Washington State, Southern California and Arizona.
They will travel to Washington, Stanford, Arizona State, UCLA and Utah, the other new conference member

Hawaii, SUCKEYES and cal and the lambkins

7 effing road games plus the craptastic Mile High game.......

We have to dump CSU at Mile High. The game needs to be moved to Boulder. Are we really looking at 4 games in Boulder the entire season??? That is a huge load of crap!!!

Well cu has 5 home games if you consider cal, it would be non-league game but it's till pending. They dropped the home game with fresno state. So now, they have to either play cal at home as a non league game and tell csu to stuff it and play in boulder. They should have kept Fresno state at home, play cal at home and drop CSU.

Non conference HAW-A
FRESNO STATE-H
OHIO STATE-A
CAL-H

6 HOME GAMES,7 ROAD GAMES

we can't call 'em WU ????

That a good point. Will we be UC in the Pac or CU? Will it be UN in the Big 10 or NU? Will it be UO or OU when okie joins the SEC?

Im pretty sure we and all the others will keep our old Big 8 monikers. Which is kinda cool.

Weird, so we play everyone in the conference except Oregon State (assuming Cal stays) - we need a patsy home game on 9/10, not Cal, even though they suck on the road

With our road trip to Hawaii that gives us a possible 13 game season and only five home games. We had better get a coach with the ability not to crack under pressure on the road otherwise it'll be a rough season.:keule::facepalm:

It'll be great to see the Buffs play so many times against our new conference foes. Next year might even make for a couple good road trips.

I want to get my season tix for next year now, especially of Les is at the helm!

fresno is no longer on the schedule

I don't get why we dropped Fresno State. If we're lacking home games, searching for wins on the schedule, and don't want to be wasting money, why did we buy our way out of that game (if that's what we did).

BTW: Cal isn't shown on the schedule according to this either.

My predictions if we were to play this schedule with this staff. 3-4 wins. Hopefully a decent coach can get us a win or two out of the should be wins, but they are a road game (washington, ASU, UCLA)

2011 CU schedule
Sept. 3 — at Hawaii L Think Toledo here
Sept. 10 — TBA W (if Cal, Cal sucks on the road)
Sept. 17 — Colorado State (Invesco) W Rams will still be worse than us
Sept. 24 — at Ohio State L Big time loss
Oct. 1 — WASHINGTON ST. W Worse than us and it's at home
Oct. 8 — at Stanford L Another blowout loss
Oct. 15 — at Washington L It should be a W, but it's on the road
Oct. 22 — OREGON L They would detroy us in Eugene, Boulder, or in a parking lot.
Oct. 29 — at Arizona St. L ASU is decent at home, we suck on the road
Nov. 5 — USC W SC will be down even more next year. Heres Hawks 1 "big" win per year
Nov. 12 — ARIZONA L Once again we get let down the week after a "big" win
Nov. 19 — at UCLA L Road game
Nov. 26 — at Utah L Another road blowout loss
