listened to Vic and Gary on the way in and for once they weren't slobbering over the Donkeys...they actually talked CU FB.

Woellk was saying how you can't can fire that incompetent arrogant moron trolling the sidelines because the staff would start looking for jobs instead of coaching. What? Do you really think they aren't already looking for jobs? Dimwit Neill admitted they were about 7 seconds later. I mean what possible difference could it make if they did stop coaching?

Vic or Gary, I don't remember which since you can substitute one for the other and not know the difference, asked if D II was calling passes to pad CH's stats. Not surprisingly, Neill called it ridiculous and said the conspiracy theorists were wroking overtime. He said the reason was they were going to get one more TD "to put the game away". What? a 28 point lead in the fourth isn't safe? If I were a member of the CU D I'd be inclined to throatpunch that hack for suggesting the CU D was that soft. NW is such an *** kisser. I don't know if they were just trying to pad CH's stats with meaningless yards, I am inclined to believe it, since only an idiot would not milk the clock in that situation, but to suggest CU wanted to be up by 35 in the fourth to make sure the game was put away is comical.

Also talked about Gus Malzahn, who he pronounced as: Gus Marzahn. What an idiot. Apparenlty he didn't read the DP where it was reported Gus ain't coming.

Of course, Neill ended with the typical rimjob journalism has become famous for telling us what a great job MB is doing...

Neill wrote a lot of stuff calling for Barnett's termination. Then he was a huge Hawkins backer. Now it seems that he has shifted his man crush to Bohn.

He took his obligatory shot at GB referencing 70-3 when the questions turned to how freakin' embarassing this loss was.

Vic and Gary were awful this morning. Vic spent the entire time talking about how pathetic the CU program is and that no coach will ever want to come to CU. And he was talking in reference to anytime, not just right now with Talkins.

He tried to claim that no one cares about CU football and no one shows up anyway.

I had to turn it off. As much as I am upset at the CU football program, the AD and administrators right now, I just can't hear this CU bashing crap. The media hatred for CU in Denver is just ridiculous.

Woelk loves to put in obligatory shots at Barnett whenever he can. In his column yesterday about having to make a change, he led it off with talking about the 70-3 game. Pretty pathetic.

Also, there is no defense for the 4th quarter playcalling on Saturday. None. Any competent head coach in that situation knows you keep running the goddamn football to kill the clock and also because Speedy was having a great game anyway.

70-3 was certainly embarrassing. But that Texas team went on to win the BCS championship. The Kansas team we lost to on Saturday had only won 2 games all season, and if CU had won, probably wouldn't win another game.

Losing a 28 point lead - with 11 minutes left in the game - to a Kansas team that was absolutely positively TERRIBLE is without question the most embarrassing defeat in modern CU history.

Vic is a ND fan so who cares what he says.
Neil has wrote nothing but fluff pieces all year about Fball.
I read that speedy was tired so they didnt have anyone to run the ball but
didnt jefferson start at RB against OU?.
Cody was snapping the ball with 10 seconds or more on the play clock for the
1st time all season usually you have to yell at the TV because they cant get the play called in time.

Hell they could have put ANYBODY at running back and just RUN THE BALL every down and CU wins by 14 points, at least!! Put one of the damn OL back there!! I am sure that Rodney Stewart wasn't the ONLY running back who traveled with the team for Saturday's game (if he was that would bring CU's coaching to a whole different level of stupidity). Will Jefferson had one kick return - so he was certainly at the game, unless he got injured, he could have carried the ball. Hell put Scotty McKnight in the backfield, tell him to hold the ball with 2 hands, and just run around for 4 or 5 seconds.

That they passed the ball 13 times, and ran the ball only 5 times - when they were leading by 28 points, proves clearly to me that there was an ulterior motive.

I thought about that too. Good Lord, if you run the clock down on each snap (they had 18 in the 4th Q, except several were on the last drive), you friggin' run off 9 minutes of clock and game over. Unquestionably the dumbest, most idiotic, irrational, and delusional staff--at any level of college football

They probably could have gone 3 and out with 3 runs into the middle of the line while maximizing the clock and there would not have been enough time for KU to come back. You throw in a first down or 2 and the game is over.

Neil is a ****ing idiot. That Texas team will go down as one of the best college football teams of all time. Kansas is piss poor, we had a 35 ****ing point lead with enough time left we could have taken a knee the rest fo the game and won.

In fact that Texas team that beat us 70-3 didn't even score 35 in one quarter against us let alone 11 minutes.

The debacle in Lawrence is by FAR more embarrasing than 70-3, by far, no contest!

Neil Woelk is a ****ing embarrassment. Is Woelk aware that Dan Hawkins will go down as a worse coach than Chuck Fairbanks in CU history? Gary Barnett won numerous North titles and a conference championship. He wasn't perfect but he was a lot better than ****ing dan Hawkins.

He was just on 104.3 spewing the same nonsense he has been saying for the last two months. The guy does not get it.

Woelk calls what our staff does as "coaching".. Seriously?

Not only that, but hello, the season is shot anyway. Does anyone really, honestly, have even somewhat of a concern that the season could possibly get worse?!? This program needs to start moving forward pronto!
