Oink, oink.

Not a coffee-achiever.

Ding, dong, the Hawk is gone. Long live the Hawk!

I was kidding when I posted this, because I was fairly certain the not ready for D 1 coaching staff could beat the worst BCS school, even on the road. But it looks like D II will lose 40 before he wins twenty. Yet another first year coach bends D II over....

What is funny is that Hawkins may not get to EITHER 20 wins, or 40 losses.

You may be right, I have no inside sources, but my bet is D II will be here until 12/31 so CU can save some $$$$. It is pretty obvious there is no more amount of incompetent performance, nepotisitic play calling, or PR jackassery that will get D II fired before 12/31 IMO.

If he is at CU until 12/31/2010 -- they need to drop football altogether because they are collectively the STUPIDEST ****ing administration in the world and they do not deserve to have a football program.

Firing him after 12/31/2010 means they don't hire a new coach until 2011 - which means that coach gets basically one month to recruit. Absolutely positively a terrible idea.
