since D II is making a monkey out of Bohn, why not?

I will say MB has done well fund raising, has a very high media profile and does a lot of things well, but actually doing the Athletic part of the Athletic Director's job he is flailing at...badly. He is hell on wheels when it comes to Directing, though.

I am now fairly confident I do not want MB picking the next HC.

Agreed. That is why they should put Mac in to handle the Athletic side of things for awhile

It is completely unacceptable for the admin to not address the reports coming out in the media. They need to make at least some type of statement...our beloved school is a complete PR disaster.

Agreed. Now with all of the reports floating in the press, he needs to say something. It now has gone too far with rumors and mis-information being circulated by un-named sources supposedly out of the Athletic Department.

I agree with this. The university brings a lot of problems on itself due to poor PR.

It is odd for MB not to say anything more. So much chatter and none of it from official sources unless you count the AD minister of propaganda Neill Woelk

On one of the other boards it was mentioned that today is the team's day off, and by NCAA rules, neither the coaches nor the athletic department are allowed to organize any sort of team meeting today.

So if Bohn, etc. has made a decision - and they are waiting to announce it to the team before they announce it to the press - then that could be one reason for the delay. They may not be able to meet with the team until Tuesday morning - at which time Bohn could announce the coaching change.

Not saying that justifies the lack of ANY information from the AD - but it could be that they don't want to make anything public until Bohn has a chance to tell the team.
