What assistants would you like to stay?

Anybody want some to stay or cut the entire staff?

I would like to keep Cabral only, and have the new guy get his entire staff.

One thing I do have to say is I hope Jashon Sykes stays and maybe even gets a better position here, possibly coaching soemthing on defense.

if it's Mac or some "back to the past" Mac lineage hire: Cabral you could make an argument I'd buy.

if it's a new guy, clean house.

Ambrose and Cabral (if he wants to stay). But again, I'm not going to be broken up if we have an entirely new staff either.

Cabral is a given. I don't see a problem with Hagan either. Hagan might need to work on some coaching related things, but he's shown he can recruit pretty well, which says a bunch doing so under Hawk.

Cabral -CU legend
Ambrose- Sounds like he is a good recruiter
Prince- The wideouts have been doing much better since he took over the WRs from Hawk

I don't have strong feelings either way. If the house is cleaned, I won't have any objections. If Cabral, Kiesau, Ambrose, Prince stay, fine. It should be entirely up to the new HC. There should NOT be any pressure to have him keep certain guys around.

No matter what though, I want a new OC & DC, which means if Kiesau stays, I want him bumped down. That KU game had horrible 4th qtr calls and I pin at least half the blame on Kiesau.

New coach can do what he wants. I hope that he gets rid of Riddle. The worst special teams in the league for two straight years should not get you a third try. Prince is the only guy really getting it done, of course or last WR coach was Dan Hawkins so anyone else coaching the WR position is an improvement. I have no faith in Hagan as a RB coach. but I don't know how many of the issues were because of our head coach.

Prince, Ambrose, Cabral - in that order of preference. If the new guy decides to keep none of them, I'm fine with it.

I'd like to see Cabral actually become a Coordinator somewhere. He has told people he eventually wants to be a HC. Now's a good time to start that.

I agree. While I would like for Cabral to stay, for his career, I sort of want him to go become a DC somewhere else. He should be given the choice though...or at the very least be strongly recommended to the new HC.

I agree that Ambrose seems like a quality assistant and recruiter. However, once again, up to the new HC.

I do not understand why some of you are for Prince. Yes, he's better than Hawk at WR...so...Bandison could've coached that position better. Prince also has a lot more talent on the field to show as product than Hawk did last year. I am not convinced about Prince, nor do I think he deserves any consideration for being retained.

Kiesau - he has proven himself as a WR coach in the past at Cal and for a short time here in my opinion. He should not be an OC though...

I think we all agree that Hagan, Riddle, Collins, Johnson and Bandison all need to be shown the exits. Above all of them though, Pittman needs to be dragged out of that place and shown some other career options. He is a horrible strength and conditioning trainer. Our players have horrible lifting technique, as evidenced by video and the number of joint injuries, are slower, sometimes weaker, and at times dont' have the endurance. I can't stand Pittman...

The new HC will almost assuredly bring in a new SC coach. That's the way it works. Even though the SC guy isn't part of the football program, he'll be working mostly with the football team and will need to have a solid relationship with the HC.

I really like the Polynesian pipeline that Cabral brings to Boulder and would like to see him on the sidelines in Honolulu next laborday weekend.

He's one of a kind.

Looking forward to getting a new SC coach. Pittman has been almost as bad as Riddle.

My vote for the staff is get rid of all of them. A new beginning should start with a clean slate.

I'd like the new HC to have complete authority to keep whoever he wants and get rid of the rest.
