ISU vs CU game thread

Good. I personally don't see a huge amount of fire or anything but some very relaxed good play. Defense coming alive and the defense playing pretty conservative solid ball.

How are our special teams lookong? Are they dong any better? I saw the long kick off return on the last drive and thought maybe they got some stuff straightened out.

Agree on the relaxed play. They look like they may actualy be having fun.

It would have been great to see what Cody could have done under the right coaching. Wasted talent. Elite Eleven Talent.

We have had some mistakes but things look much more organized and relaxed than before. Players seem to have some fire. Plays are getting called in time, seem to be adjusting to things happening on the field.

Cabral for HC!!!

I actually wouldn't have a problem with this. He is a recruiter, players respect him and play hard for him. He is willing to seek help where he needs it and take responsibility for his mistakes.

We could do a lot worse. (like the last time we hired a coach!)

Not a bad half of football from our buffs.
I wonder how much is Cabral and how much is the guys just playing loose because the albatross of Hawkins is no longer around their necks.

if we win the rest of our games, i am fully on the cabral for permenant coach bandwagon

Loved Cabral's respond to Steele's question

Q: will you play more conservative offense in the second?

A: let me go confer with the offense.

No pretense at all. Humble badass

seems to me that our offense is taking more shots down field. As good as cody is doing on short passes , I'm really looking forward to seeing what Hirchman with a huge arm , can do with Prich and Clemons next year

This.
I want to see how the team plays. If they play with fire and guts and never quit then I will likely shift to the Cabral for HC camp full time.

The part I dislike most about Cody: tipped passes.
He holds the CU record correct?
