Rivals has reported the story this morning, so it's public and we can share.

We've been sitting on this one since Friday. :smile2:

My kid just came home from Boulder to do laundry. I said, "That Ussery kid left the team." "Who?"

To bad. He seemed like he just couldn't find his spot on the team. Last year went home once for personal reasons, switched from WR to Safety this year but couldn't seem to get on the field even when we had a bunch of injuries. Playing behind Polk who is a Soph and a bunch of Jrs. so may not have seen much hope of getting on the field next year as well.

You would think that guys in his position would welcome the coaching change because new coaches often come in with a clean slate and everybody gets a shot at playing.

That all said this may have more to do with missing home than anything else. His dad is an exec. in the NBA so paying for college isn't an issue.

This will hurt our graduating rating but open another spot in a year short on schollies.

Good luck to him

We do turn on our guys quickly. Any inside info on that remark?

Better question...is he still eligible grade wise? Please don't tell us this is going to be another effing APR hit.

His dad is kind of a badass. Prez of Nike Sports for several years and now Prez/CEO of the Mavericks. I'm sure his son has gotten his way most of his life.

I have had several interactions with him and that was my take. The fact that he couldn't find the field, and then split, supports my opinion.

you sir, are an uninformed idot.

Take that to the bank.

Terdema Ussery is a good kid and we should wish him the best. His teammates liked him. Some times it just doesn't work out.

As AJ said, it wasn't due to Hawkins or the coaching situation.

It's really unfair to speculate further on this, guys.

It is a fair question regarding his academic eligibility and also whether he will stay enrolled at CU. The answers to those questions will effect our APR score for this academic year. We'll effort to find out.

Feel free to explain why. I welcome your posts or PM.

All I did was use my interactions with him to formulate an opinion. I also met his dad once while Jr. was with him and I do have to say he was VERY nice and charismatic. The younger however, was kind of entitled snot.

BTW...when calling someone an "idiot" ... you may want to figure out how to spell the slur or you may appear to be...ummm...an idiot. Unless "idot" is some new cool way to disparage someone.

I wouldn't worry about it much. Alferd likes to ride a high horse when it comes to the players, and loves to act all butthurt whenever anyone says ANYTHING that could possibly be seen as disparaging toward any of them...even if you do have direct first hand information that a kid is/was a prick.

Okay. Wow.

I have direct firsthand information that Terderma Ussery is a good person and well liked by the team. Sorry if you find my defending him annoying.

Out.
