Looks like the Redcoats aren't leaving Estes Park anytime soon

That's ****ing awful, poor Estes Park. I would rather spend the winter in a haunted hotel with a meth addicted Jack Nicholson and no Scatman Crothers than have to wander among the people of the corn at a "Big Red" store in Colorado.

I could not give a **** about them or that store anymore. They are going to turn into Michigan State fans to me. there are ass loads of them here in Denver, but I don't care because we do not play them ever. That is what will happen to the red.

I wandered into the store once, a couple of years ago. It was mid-August, a couple of weeks before the college football season, and the place was empty. Our boy Jesse was behind a counter, the only person in the whole shop. I said, "Hey, how's it going?" and the nub barely glanced up before returning to whatever it was he was doing. Didn't say a word. Not that it mattered much. The shop seemed more about this loser's inability to forge a life beyond Cornpone football than anything else.

And I bet 80% of the Nebraska fans livign in Colorado have never even been to a game in Lincoln

I went in there a few years ago myself wearing buff stuff. Made some small talk with him, but he went on about how CU doesn't sell out enough.

FIFY

In the whole god-forsaken state they have nothing else of any interest. Thus the obsession with a bunch of 18-24 year olds in whom they place their entire identity and self-image.

Not a shock. Nubbers have four options for regional travel - Kansas, the Dakotas, IOWA or Colorado. Easy call.

I've never stepped foot in the place, but after we beat 'em Friday, I may have to make a point to do so. Just for ****s and giggles.

Who will you be obsessed about once you move on? You're the one on our site responding to every ****ing thread you can. Have you started trolling the Big Televen(12) yet?

Ya, but I don't find myself on a Nebraska board. Nebraska is the least of my obsessions right now. Mine is moving on to a great conference and finding a good football coach (which we may have already found).

Inferior team's fans don't go to superior team's boards because you don't have anything to pop off about. I can come on this board throughout the year and always find a thread mentioning Huskers.

I don't go to CSU boards. It's the same situation there only reversed. And I have a lot to pop off about Nebraska. Football, volleyball and baseball are all you have.

Only so much red a rational person can wear. But then again we are talking folks like you, CSU...

I would agree. I am not much of a fan of wearing red, most of my NU gear is black. But after seeing the KSU fan base, it makes me glad that none of my teams wear purple. Thats an awful color to wear.
