Has anyone heard of the open date next year being filled, i cant see us waiting untill washington state to open our home schedule.

I heard it was going to be Cal but they would not count it as a league game.

Both CU and New Mexico have the September 10th date open right now.

That program needs money and will be very willing to take a pay date at CU so they can build the war chest for terminating Locksley after next season. (He signed a 6-year deal starting with the 2009 season for $750k a year. They announced he's coming back for 2011. Speculation is that they don't have the money to buy him out and will go on with Locksley despite two 1-11 seasons and a couple off-field scandals.)

I hope they:

1. Fill the date with a "should win" game, and
2. Tell the 12Pac that in return for dropping the home date with Cal, that the league must schedule our 1st 2 conf games with Cal in our back yard (no matter what year those games end up being scheduled)
