I never really thought we'd get Embree, Bieniemy and Cabral

It just shows how much love these guys have for the program and how much pride they have in being a Buffalo that they are all working on fixing this together.

There were other opportunities out there for Bieniemy and Cabral this year, but they chose to be with Embree and CU. That says a lot about them, it says a lot about Embree, and it says a lot about Colorado Football.

Thanks, guys.

+1. The coaches already have the teamwork and chemistry which will rub off on the players

I'm really hoping the familiarity these guys have limits the new coach jitters and problems we are gonna have, because having a first time HC, OC, AND DC is gonna cause us hell at times.

Greg Brown isn't a first year DC.

I can already smell victory

Will EB be in the booths?

tell us how you really feel.

Hope I am wrong. Bieniemy is an up and coming coach that was going to be an OC sooner rather than later and has a proven recruiting pedigree. Brown is a bit older and is a career secondary coach for the most part, while also being lazy on the recruiting trail.

While Brown doesn't have near the sex appeal of EB, I think he is a solid hire. He obviously has something to offer if Stoops down at AZ wanted to steal him to make him a co-DC. One thing Mike Stoops knows is D. I think he is more of a cerebral coach who can gameplan with the best of them.

:yeahthat:

That's what I'm loving about this. I wasn't sold on having to have an "in the family" hire, but seeing Embrrrito, EB and Cabral you can just see how important CU and CU football are to them. I think that's going to count for a lot. Especially with all 3 of them together. There's going to be some learning curve, but I think they're going to lean on each other and get each other through it...

If there is a better definition of team player than Brian Cabral, I'd like to know it.

Having all three is spectacular. Thank you Embree, Bienemy and especially Cabral for your loyalty, passion and enthusiasm.

Furthermore, thank you to the administration for this seemingly renewed commitment to bringing in quality coaches and assistants. I am sure not every single coach they hire will be perfect in the beginning, but it seems this administration is demonstrating a willingness to spend money to get the right ones in when necessary.
