So much for the Head Coach in Waiting tag, Muschamp bails to Floirda. Couldn't happen to a nicer crew.

pretty funny watching UT boards melt....the shine was off "Coach Boom" but the UT ego can't handle the fact that someone, anyone would leave them.

like a joke i heard one time: Texans are like the French, they think they are really cool but no one else does.

I'll be curious how Mack and UT respond. If I was a UT fan I would be ****ting my overalls. Would be happy to see UT down where they belong.

wait, we get ANOTHER meltdown? I don't think I can handle another one. When the rumors became official a few days ago, it was pure bliss over there

Where is HornBuff? Muschamp announcement must have pushed him over the edge.

For all of the whining about the sky falling, their commitment list doesn't seem to have suffered yet. They still have a ****load of money in their AD. Maybe things really will turn south for the horns but I won't believe it until I see it.

Their program has a similar effect on recruits as USC in that kids still want to go play there and I don't see them falling into a huge rut like Michigan or Notre Dame since they have so much talent in state. Its still really nice to see them stub their toe from time to time though. I really like what Dickerson said about Texas in the 30 for 30 special -

So does this make Major Applewhite the coach in waiting?

I love how Mac has one down year and all the UT fans are screaming "off with his head!"
They do realize that Mac had them playing for the NC less than a year ago. The greed of UT, both for money and glory, will cause their own downfall (again).

do you think muschamp takes kennedy for his staff?

Now there's a good question. We've all been so sure that if Kennedy didn't get the Kent St job he'd be coming here. Well with Muschamp going to Florida, he'll need a staff, too.

However, I suspect that most of the staff at Florida will remain. It's not like Meyer is leaving to take another job or was fired for incompetence. There are a lot of very highly qualified assistants at Florida. There always are.

Wasn't McCarney their DC? so that spot is open too.
