CU MD plates.jpg

It was a joint effort. I worked with a local MD alum and a guy at the Alumni Assn, who did much of the leg work and deserve the credit. My roll was communicating to the alumni and pestering them to get their checks and applications in. We finally got the required 25 applications (we had 50+ people say they would apply) in late Nov. Now we are waiting for the DMV mechanics to slowly churn.

I am thrilled that it came to fruition and I am considering moving four blocks west so that I can get one.

I love the DC plates. "Taxation without representation" is a very nice dig, and it's everywhere in the city. I'm really surprised they had the cojones to pull that one off.

If there is one thing local DC politicians have, its cojones: Marion Berry anyone?
