imo we do not have a chance in hell d-scott and jfly will steer him away
What makes you think this kid is listening to those two. It's not like they should be handing out any advice to anyone. Anyways Jfly didn't go to St. Bonnies. He went to Moorpark.

Just a opinion here, but I don't think many of Darrell's teamates really cared for him. I think he was only at St. Boneventure for one season no?

Greg Biggins had this to say in his ESPN recruiting blog-

The last time we talked with St. Bonaventure (Ventura, Calif.) linebacker Cody Kurz, it appeared the athlete was all set to commit to long time favorite LSU. The Tigers are no longer an option and Kurz is now scrambling to drum up interest.

-and this quote from Kurz-

"Then some of the schools that I was talking with have had coaching changes. Colorado had offered but that staff was fired and I was talking a lot with coach [Chuck] Bullough at UCLA and he was just let go. So right now, I have a visit set with New Mexico State for Jan. 21 but that's it.

"Right now, I'm just trying to call some schools and get my name out there, let the colleges know that I'm not committed and I'm still open. I would love to hear from Oregon State or UCLA or Arizona State but honestly, I'm open to anyone, I just want a chance to play, that's all I'm looking for."

everyone he talks to gets fired...

Seems like Cabral would have been recruiting him and that wouldn't have changed.

What's weird with Kurz is that he was a fairly hot prospect early. It looked like he was going to LSU. That fell through and no big programs have stepped up.

If I'm Embree, I consider bringing him in next week. Who knows? If he doesn't have many options we might be able to get him to accept a grayshirt and spend the next year bulking up for DE ahead of the 2012 spring semester practices.

Dude can play.

Buried in a Jan. 2011 Rivals update was this sentence:

For now, Kurz said he's focused on straightening out his academics...
