I have heard its Cal but nothing official. Nothing period in a long time for that matter. Any news?

My impression is both schools are trying to find good alternative cupcakes for that date, as they don't want a 10th conference game basically. Don't think anything official has been set.

My friend in the AD is saying it will be Cal or Portland State, they should know very soon.

I remember watching that game that night thinking that it was such a big deal. The next day put that into perspective.

It actually was a big deal. Eddie was on the news a short time afterwards saying that people were coming up and telling him he saved their lives because the delay cause them to go to bed later and call in late the next day.

Cal is 9-17 on the road the last 5 years.

Last year they went 1-4 on the road getting outscored 158-61.

Cal's lone win was a close 20-13 win in Pullman against the Pac-12's worst team.

CU is usually decent to good at home even during our bad recent times. Cal loses their QB that tore us up an the majority of their D-line that cut through our line like a hot knife through butter.

Not saying it will be easy or a win, but it is def winnable.

Wow, I didn't know that story. Unbelievable. What do you say to that?

Nice. I'm actually getting married on 9-10-11.

How does your wife-to-be feel about integrating the tailgate and game into your wedding day? Logistics are gonna be tough. :wink2:

Congrats, man!

September 10th is my son't birthday. He turns 3 that day. So no matter who we play, you can chalk this one up as a Buff win.

:wtf::wow:

who gets married during football season?

:yeahthat:

A friend got married during the CU/OSU game mid 90's. He figured since it was a road game nobody would care. Most of the wedding party kept leaving the reception to watch the game on tv in the hotel bar.

If you care to go back and look, 9/10/94 was, indeed a Saturday. It was a bye week. You gotta plan for these things, dude.
