Speeding Buffaloes

Does anybody have that tv screen shot of the speeding buffaloes from the 94 team with the 40 times? thanks

Rae Carruth was something to watch. I can only assume Detmer would say to Rae in the huddle "okay here's the play, Rae, run straight down the field and catch the ball for a TD". Defenders were never even close to him.

Speeding Buffaloes 2009

Jason Espinoza 4.77
Darrell Scott 4.68 (when running for the banquet table, 4.8 field speed)
Patrick Mahnke 4.76 (4.95 when playing safety)
Michael Sipili 4.85 (5.42 in games against Toledo)

AJ, I'm not challenging you, but why were we so slow, those speeds are amazing, but we never saw it on the field. What gives?

Come and listen to a story about a man named Dan
A poor assistant coach, till he moved to Boise land,
Then one day he was coaching on the blue,
And over the phone came an offer that was true ...

Gold, that is, black and gold. Multi-year contracts.

Well the first thing you know ol Dan's a millionaire,
Kinfolk said "Dan moved away from there!"
Said "Dal Ward's is the place he ought to be"
So he loaded up the truck and moved to Buff Country.

FootHills, that is. Flatirons, buffaloes.

Ole Dan, he tried his hardest but he didn't fit quite in
And it was gettin harder to quote those catchy bits of zen
Every day he tried to figger exackly what to do
But he couldn't make the players fit the scheme he brought from blue.

Well now its time to say good by to Dan and all his kin.
And they would like to thank you folks fer lettin' them drop in.
You're all invited back a gain to this locality
To have a heapin helpin of the man we call JE.

Embree, that is. Set a spell, Take your cleats off.

Y'all come back now, y'hear?.

Dan Hawkins. He didn't play to htis teams strengths and was too ignorabnt to/

Creatini, ya gotta work a little harder here. AJ, Rep!

You shouldn't end your sentences with prepositions and/or backslashes. There was some other grammatical stuff in there too, I think.

No, Walrus, TG is simply speaking in code. His ways are not our ways: It's the Allbuff's version of Da Vinci.

See here: "htis" ... now the censors think TG is saying "this" and just typing too fast, but we know better. Try moving those letters around and starting the word with "S." There you go, I see what you did there. Uh-huh, brilliant, isn't it? What four letter word starts with "s" and ...

And then there's "ignorabnt" ... figure it out? It took me several minutes with a scrabble dictionary, but it is an acronym for
"It's Going Nowhere or Really Awfully Bad - No Technique!"

But the piece de resistance is the final stroke "to/" --- we all know that a forward slash precedes a file extension. TG is telling us "there is more to the story." Yes, that's it, yes!

Bravo, TG, Bravo. You have captured everything in so few words.
