AllBuff Q Scores for Local Media - Nomination thread

For those of you who aren't familiar with the media industry, simply put, a "Q Score" measures the familiarity and likeability of media personalities.

I thought it might be a fun offseason thread to list everyone in the local media who covers the Buffs and assign an AllBuffs Q Score. I was thinking ours should be based on "Buff knowledge", "amount of Buff coverage" and "Buff fairness/homerism".

Nominate media members by responding to this thread. We can then do polls to vote on our AllBuffs Q Scores (likely a vote on a scale from 0-100).

I'll list the media guys in this OP as they are posted.

B.G. Brooks, Chris Dempsey

(I like the thread idea 'Nik, but probably more an indicator of a slow week)

Sandy "I just can't shut my piehole" Clough, Charles Johnson, Big Al, Vic Lombardi, Les Shapiro and Gary miller.

What's a homerism?

Lionel Bienvenue (is he even still in Denver?)
Reggie Rivers

Would be fun to do a bracket, then email some of them to see what sort of interest they take. I bet some of the radio guys would have a blast.

Let's do it. Looks like we'll have enough for 32. Probably need to divide the print media some way.

How does this look for the Brackets:

Television
Radio
Denver Print
Other Print (local, national, internet)

Can we get Q scores on three alums? Chris Fowler, Carl Quintanilla, and Joe kernan. Ok the last two have nothing to do with sports, but Why not throw them some love.

I nominate Drew Litton

What about a Blog bracket, too?

Maybe just do "Local Print" and then have an "Other" category. Bloggers, Premium Site reporters, etc. could go in there.

Instantly thought Pat Ridgell before it hit me he's not here.

Chris Tomasson, then, if he's still considered local. I think he still lives here. Great guy too.

Alex: where are John Reigel and Pat Ridgell when you need them?

Man, I used to love listening to John Reigel on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

I was just as bummed when he died as when Bob Martin passed away.

I would like to add Terry Frei and Irv and Joe ( because Irv gave us Greg Brown and Joe loves to pick on the Huskers)

How 'bout an "in absentia", or "former" category. Could include him and the cat that went to the Pacific NW.......what's his name? Anyway, just a thot.
