its been reported for a few days that he maybe out.

He kicked him out of the huddle and made him go play defense beacuase he didint know one of the plays. Something like that...

If he did what would it have been?

Qintina?
Quinesha?

I have it on good authority EB took to referring to an RB as Queen Hildretha....

all kidding aside, I kind of hope it isn't Q. He has talent and I would hate to see it not work out for him in Boulder, especially since he is a local kid.

You either show up to practice ready to play witht he plays down, or you get your ass handed to you! I like this attitude, no more of of the bs shifting in players in and out of our offense and lining up with different packages cuz someone didn't know a play.

I guess AZ decided to take this beyond the point of speculation. Quick definitely missed practice on Sunday. It was definitely related to him getting called out for not knowing his playbook. There was some talk that Quick was told not to come back until he knew his playbook. The question was, "Was he out to study the book or had he quit?". There was also some talk that Quick may have gotten word that it wasn't looking good for him to earn a scholarship at CU, so he was exploring some other options he might have if he transferred (like Lobato did when he went to UNC).

Getting chewed by your coach is easier to stomach then getting road graded on National TV. I'm so glad that Embree is tough - the kids who can take it will be better all around.

Honestly I'd rather have the weed out process begin now so we have a good fall camp with a team full of people ready to work. Quotes like this make me really excited ---

However, senior tight end Ryan Deehan offered a different perspective on whether Monday's intensity rose: "I don't necessarily think the intensity level went up because it's been intense the whole time.
"Everybody's wanted to show these new coaches what we can do. We understand that they know how to win, and they can teach us to win. We're really excited to have these guys."

And for all of us who were curious about 9 on 7 comming back --

"We're still up and down, we can't get to a certain level and just sustain it," Embree said. "The offense beats the defense in nine-on-seven, then we go to team run and the offense does well again and then the defense dominates the rest of practice. We can't do that."
