Embree article at Rivals.com

I thought the reference to Wisconsin and Iowa was a good point and a very acceptable goal.

I like how he answers questions directly. No bullsh!t, shell-game type answers or dancing around things. Ask a question, get an honest answer. Whether he can coach remains to be seen (I'm betting yes sir), but at the very least the days of talking and talking and talking w/out saying a damn thing are over.

Man, Embree seems to be a few steps, no, miles ahead of every question and has a great perspective. And it is all grounded in reality. It is hard not to get excited since every taste of excitement fans have had the past few years has gone down in flames, but I can't help but think some great things are ahead of us. When is this damn season going to arrive!!

I'll reserve judgment until he starts producing winning seasons. I've been down this path before.

Totally get what you are saying. that being said.................. this guy has coached at the pro level and unlike Hawk is not coming in from a program that wins a bull**** conference and had Peterson the real reason Hawk was successful.

Is it wrong if I am getting a little excited for next year? I don't follow football anywhere near as much as I do basketball, so I will definitely understand if Colorado is going to be a doormat again next year, but from everything I have read, it doesn't seem too unreasonable to be excited. Let me know if I am way off base here :D
