Spring Game Weather Forecast

If there's one thing I know about living on the Front Range, it's that looking at a weather forecast for 6 days ahead is about as productive as trying to find a CSU football fan after Labor Day.

My snowboarding fetish leads me to look at many long range forecasts for storm cycles. The long range forecasts are all calling for some sort of storm cycle next weekend. How much that affects the front range varies wildly, but it does support this forecast. The ****** part is that if the game is at night, super coldness. Not to mention the whole crappy rainy weekend dealio isn't good for recruits.

I will be more worried if that forecast has not changed by Wednesday.

First look = DOH!

not to bad, but no glorious Colorado sunshine either. We have been way to lucky the past few years... sucks it may be a rainy sackygate. Not that I will notice rain in my planned condition.

Not so sure about that....seem to recall last year (or maybe year before) being as cold as my sexual appetite after seeing the La La pic in the Nuggets/Lakers thread (which is damn cold)

Ya I was up there a couple of years ago for the Spring game and I thought it was cold. But then, I've probably acclimated to Phoenix a little in the last 30 years...

it was cold and rainy two spring games ago. i don't remember last year because i couldn't have cared less about going to the game.

Meh. I still don't really like the night game idea. I guess if it helps with recruiting, but to me the Spring game is all about getting out on a nice spring day to enjoy some sunshine and football.

Saturday: A chance of rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 50.

Positives: Its gonna be sunny at times!
Negatives: Looks like the forecast is moving towards more rain and colder.

Temps keep creeping up which is a good thing....probably most solid prediction will come tomorrow, but most places saying High in the Low 60's now with only a 20% chance of rain

and still partly sunny!

However, sat night...
Saturday Night: A chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 39.

Ya, thats gonna be weird

I've seen two different forecasts for Saturday. Mike Nelson says it's gonna rain. The guy on KOA says it won't rain until Sunday, and that Saturday should be pretty nice.

I have no interest in going if the weather is crappy. I'm getting too old for that kind of chit.

You do know that the club seats/section is open & free during the Spring Game....Usually find myself holed up there when it's a bit cold for these games

To quote Chris Berman, "WHAT!" I'm older than dirt and flying up for the game. Do not deny me Sackygate.

As long as it doesn't rain then it will be fine. The spring game two years ago was brutal.
