Quentin Hildreth no longer on team

Per the Rippy article in today's BDC. At the bottom:

Good luck to Quick if he chooses to pursue football elsewhere, or stay at CU and get his degree.

Echo hope he sticks with it and gets his degree. I have no idea how his financial situation is but I would have to imagine that if he has the desire to do so, he easily has enough talent to go to a smaller school and get his school paid for.

Good to see Daniel Munyer in the spring awards. I know Slider had mentioned him as a player to watch earlier this spring and it appears he will be in the mix for the LG spot. Really hope he can push Adkins.

Actually the news of it had been here as well (at least unofficially) from when Embree decided that he wasn't getting it done and he stopped practicing.

My response was simply a reafirmation that I appreciate Q coming to CU as a walk-on and giving it a try. It didn't work out and I wish him the best in his future as I would anyone who gave it a shot for the Buffs but for whom it didn't work out.

I do think that Q has the talent to contribute at some level if he chooses to. If he ends up contributing to a DII team and getting his degree it will be a good outcome for him.
