2010: 19,638
Record: 30,076

2011 renewals: 17,617
2011 reserves: 1,378 (deposits for new season tix)

Biggest lag in renewals has been with faculty and former letter winners who are being hit with the donation attached to seats for the first time. All other renewals running around 90% while these are running around 75%.

Also of note:
- Bohn anticipates selling out the 41 luxury suites.
- California Buff Club drive is doing well but has a long way to go. Baseline of 99 members has grown to over 500 with a goal of 3,000.

I think we'll get to 22,00 this year. 25,000 is def doable in the next year-two years given our conference and coaching staff but people are a little to skeptical right now given the last five years. Put together a winning season and we will reach this next year but with our schedule that is the challenge.

I can't be a season ticket holder because I live in Chicago, but I'm going to the OSU, UW, and UCLA games this year. We better not look anything like the team I saw in Berkeley.

:bs::wave: Living outside of Colorado is not an excuse. OSU is drivable for you, but instead of (or in addition to) traveling to LA and Seattle, why not travel to Boulder? I've had season tix for 6 years, all the time living in Washington DC. Before my little one came along, I would go to 3 home games and sell or give away the others. Now its down to two until she gets old enough to join me. I have family and friends in Boulder, so its a bit easier to unload tickets, but a number of Allbuffers have kept my seats warm on Saturdays.

Step up Chitown! Join the club!

Oh, I've gone to a game in Boulder every year since I graduated (KSU last year), but we are one of the worst traveling fan bases so I would much rather provide my support there (went to the basketball game at MSG as well).

At under 20K season ticket holders, we're also one of the worst home support teams. CU benefits so much more when you buy season tickets. I don't mean to bag on you. In fact you sound like one of the more dedicated fans here, traveling all over to support your team. A tip of the hat to you, good sir! I'm just encouraging you to support the team with $$ as well as cheers.

No offense taken. The problem is I go back to CO so often to get away from the city that I don't want to limit myself just to football season. If it makes you feel any better I am a Buff Club member.

I'm on the reserve list, but haven't heard a peep from the AD

with the amount of current renewals I think its possible given the fact the AD doesnt start campaigning hard until July.

How many out there are in my camp and were delaying until tax day to re-up? I figure i cant be the only one.

Ok whats the deal with season tickets? Do you have to be alumni? How much are we talking about? I could make maybe one or two games this year, I think, never been to Folsom mind you. Hopefully gas will go down a bit but I doubt it, might just fly probably cheaper. If I bought season tickets and didnt use them, could we do some kind of raffle on here and divy up the tickets some way?

you do not have to be alumni, not sure how much they are, we already have a raffle but why not?

They're taking reservations right now if you put $100 down. Anyone can buy season tix or be a Buff Club member.

Here's the seating chart with the ticket prices: http://www.cubuffs.com/fls/600/FolsomField/Map.htm#__utma=1.2103917017.1284954350.1303919742.1303925500.28&__utmb=1.7.10.1303925500&__utmc=1&__utmx=-&__utmz=1.1303925500.28.24.utmcsr=cubuffs.com|utmccn=(referral)|utmcmd=referral|utmcct=/ViewArticle.dbml&__utmv=-&__utmk=219327257

We could certainly help with a ticket exchange on AllBuffs as long as we didn't get into anything that would have tax or regulatory implications for the site.

I'm on the waitlist for season tickets and live out of state. I might not even make it to a home game this year.
But I think the monetary support to the department is important.

My tickets will be put to good use. I know some season ticket holders who might want to bring some extra people along. Someone will want to have access for a few games.

I'm planning on offering a game or two to my Denver based cousins, who otherwise couldn't afford to go. In a pinch, I'll donate them back to the university for them to use with their outreach, or to one of my favorite HS teachers.

Don't be surprised if some tickets might become available in Barzil to any Buff fan (except Creatini, of course).

if we go to a bowl game i'd say we'd get 25g by the next season for sure.

we have kind of a cruel dialectic in that it's so easy to buy tix outside the stadium....that until those tix dry up or increase beyond face (usually less if you are willing to wait).....no motivation for some to commit to season tix.

I saw that happening during the basketball season. Once there was some success, it became really unlikely that someone could show up before the game and find a scalper with 2 seats together for a decent price. As soon as that happened, presales started going nuts along with talk of the need to buy season tix for 2011-12.

Football will react with the same dynamic, only bigger since there's a better history and Colorado is a better football state than basketball state. If we hit the 25k goal this year and follow it up with a bowl game (and maybe a top 25 recruiting class), we'll likely be over 30k season tickets for 2012... especially with 5 conference home games on that schedule.

i think with the "back to the past" enthusiasm currently around the program, we win one we shouldn't (a more durable version of OU '07) or finish strong and make a bowl game...along with the excitement of a new conference and seeing new teams in Folsom.....i think we have reason to be optimistic. i'm a little worried about Hawaii and seeing Moniz again....given that i think the D needs to start from the bones up, complete overhaul. D backfield doesn't look on paper to be a strength. in 99 Barney got prison-loved by CSU, had a Qb with experience much like TH...to a degree, a makeshift D, and closed the season with an Insight.com bowl blowout of BC. won 7 games. now, the next season was rough....but, lot of factors there. and 3 L's to top 15 teams by single digits before October.

and the "dialectic" closes more rapidly with football, as you say. student tix sell out, i'm not sure that was the case even in the Rick or Barnett years. and my reasons for no longer buying or using my dad's season basketball tix in years past is the OOC schedule. it's my principled position for now. but, CU hoops has been that way forever....buy a GA ticket, or scalp a pair for face. hopefully, it won't go back as quickly as it changed if we are a 16 win team next year. but, football is more durable commitment at CU once things appear to be rectified.

If the NFL has a lock-out/strike, these numbers could go through the roof.

Me too. I called them on Monday.

The AD said to hold on. The renewal upgrade will continue through April and into May.

Around the end of May, the folks on the waiting list would starting hearing back regarding available seats.
The offer is still on the table to buy immediately on the horseshoe. You can grab those now. The wait list is for the sidelines.

I asked how the wait list was going to be contacted, first come-first serve?

The reply was "probably alphabetical"!

FYI - allbuffs.com currently owns two season tickets. Those seats have been renewed. We're waiting for a call back on a request to bump that up to eight tickets. We're doing our part.

No doubt CFB tickets, TV ratings, & CFB merchandise sales would go thru the roof.

Larry Scott is looking at televising Pac 12 College Football on Sunday if the NFL tanks this season. The logistics and uncertainty are huge, but this could be a windfall. Chances are slim.

woot! Go B's!

Damnit!

I have two FB season tix, and I'm also going to re-up for MBB. Go Buffs!

I have renewed my 4 season tix and will be buying 2 season tickets to MBB this next season. The MBB season tix will be a first since I was in college. My son is now old enough that he really enjoys it so it makes for a great outing.

Nice! It's great to see people getting excited for MBB!

Just got on the wait list today for 4 new season tix for football. Hoping for section 120, but would be OK with 216 or 220. Will not be OK with 103.
