New Buffs Uni's

Hmmmmm. Doubt it. I think they're going with black pants on the road.
 
Embree said we he's wasn't exactly sure of the uniform but he did say that they will be sticking to black jersey with gold pants at home and white jersey with black pants on the road. I would be shocked if we see anything different.
 
Love the uni's. Glad we are returning to a time when CU was great. The players should be happy with it too. The jersey is instantly recognizable as a team that has played for and won the national title game, that has had a heisman winner, and has a history and tradition of winning. Would like to see black pants for the road, and a possible blackout combination for the USC game (students have already started a Facebook event for it). I like what I am seeing so far.
 
Where did that design come from? I highly doubt that it's official. Looks like just someone posting their own creations.
 
link worked for me, but i remember JE saying black pants on the road. gold on the road makes us look like GA Tech.

and we REALLY can't have that.

We wore gold pants on the road in the mid 80's after we went away from powder blue. I don't mind the gold pants, but I love the black. Would not mind seeing them alternate between the gold and black pants on the road.
 
I think if you replaced the Gold pants with Black, with a Gold CU logo (for the away Uni) it would be exactly as JE described and look right.

I approve. Looks Kordell-era 90s, but I would definitely like to see COLORADO in a bigger font size.
 
The pants MUST match the helmets to look sharp. I would take the '94 jerseys copy them and use the new materials/shapes. DONE!
 
I just wish they would do the black on black for black out nights. Show some support etc. plus those unis look badass

Find a scheme. Stick with it. Black tops, gold pants at home. White tops, black pants on the road. Done.
 
What if we did something revolutionary and incorporate other colors found in the state of Colorado into our uniform scheme. Colorado is "the colorful state." Maybe we could use the blue of the sky and the colors of the sunset with our uniforms. This could be revolutionary, who's on board?

Sacky that kind of goes against the whole blackout thing. Wearing black on black on game a year isn't going to hurt anything and it looks pretty sick when the rest of the stadium is in black.

when i was playing little league hoops near Smoky Hill HS, we are in a league where one team gets to wear replica Nuggets T-shirt jerseys like that. the rest of the teams had other NBA team T's with the logo. real two color basic, not the rainbow colors and pinball machine logo/skyline logo. my team was the Trailblazers. we were in the top half of the league but not great. but, it just sucked playing "the Nuggets"....cause somehow they were more "real" than the rest of the league.....and they had those cool unis. much cooler than everyone else. i think we split with them, but it wasn't fair....they got to "be" the Nuggets.
