Who are the top 5 CU football donors/boosters?

I have heard that CU's biggest donations over the years have come from the family estate of Thomas B. Artsandsciences. Supposedly he funded an entire school at CU, but I'm not sure which one...I don't think we'll ever know.

i'm guessing mike bohn knows who they are...

Actually, he doesn't. Whenever MB wants to talk to the big donors, he leaves a note in a notch of the tree outside Old Main, it gets picked up read and the response comes back to MB the same way. That is why there was a delay in firing D II after the KU debacle. Handing off secret notes takes time...

I have no idea who the "big donors" are, but maybe these names from the head coach search committee might be a good place to start:

Dave Hoover, Chairman & CEO/Ball Corporation;
Roger Parker (’83, Business-Mineral Land Management), Chairman & CEO/Recovery Energy, Inc.;
George Solich (‘83, Business-Mineral Land Management), President & CEO/Cordillera Energy Partners III, LLC.

$250M Bill and Claudia Coleman - CU system (all campuses) for research to improve lives of those with Cognitive Disabilities. (Fortune from Hewlett Packard & Sun Microsystems. Neither attended CU nor have kids that did. Kudos to former Pres Betsy Hoffman for landing this one)

The CU AD has established "The Buff Club Cabinet" that consists of up to 100 members who make a 3-year minimum commitment to annually donate $25K to the athletic program. See p11 of the PDF file for listing of named Buff Cabinet members.

I'd guess billionaire Tom and Cydney Marisco might be among the top 5.

No wonder UCCS was just building as many buildings as possible when I was there, knew they had a donation for the Events Center but not the others.
