11.30am on September 17th ... broadcast on FSN for CSU

(Editor's Note: ROOT Sports in the Rocky Mountain Region is no longer FSN; they do air a good amount of FSN programming, however. On Sept. 17, the Colorado Rockies play that evening, so it is very possible ROOT will air the CU-CSU football game but no decision has been made since it was just announced Wednesday FSN is doing the game.)

1.30pm on November 25th for Utah ... also on FSN

Should be looking like this by about halftime:

The 11:30 kickoff for the CU/CSU game is a joke. Parking lots will probably open around 7am, and with the cluster that is DPD and the stadium if you want to ensure making it inside to watch Ralphie you better be in the ticket line by 10:30.

Let me be the first in this thread to thank Mike Bohn for extending this stupid series.

I may just get a hotel in Denver for the night to make things easier.

Gawd Dammit I freaking hate these early kickoffs in Denver. This is bullsh*t.

This is all the fault of the Rammies and the stupid year they had to bust out the tear gas.

Can someone please explain to me why we play at 11:30 am when we are not on national tv? Let's start an email campaign or something this ****ing sucks

Rabble, rabble, rabble.

Yes. It sucks to play the CSU Rams (in Denver before noon)

It's also no picknick to play at Utah at 1:30 MTN on T+1. That's an 8 1/2 drive of ~ 500 miles.

Better hit the road before 4AM, or sooner to tailgate.

DEN-SLC on Frontier has $200 RT leaving at 8:16AM arriving at 9:44AM. Flt 579. Next Frontier flight gets in too late. Get in there and book it.

**** 11 am kickoffs. They better not do this to us again for more than the CSU game.

11 am kickoffs do suck but I don't know why your all so mad. We just got 2 more games put on national TV. That's now 5 nationally televised games for this year with the possibility of more to come. Not bad for a team that hasn't been to a bowl game in several years. As Phil Distefano always points out there is no better form of pulicity for the school.

I think we should play more games on Wednesday nights at 11 PM, provided we are on national TV. Good publicity and all.

That's actually a good idea smart ass. Sounds like fun to me, those Saturday afternoon kickoffs have become kind of banal. Might be past your bedtime though.

I am really sick and tired of worrying about winning games. I just want to watch my team play games with FSN's 4th rated crew who cannot remember if we are the team from Boulder or Fort Collins. Scheduling is really friggin overrated when it comes to football success.

Viva national TV money!

P.S.-Toledo is wondering if we have any future openings for Friday night at their place. Holla!

Who said anything about scheduling? Im with you, id much rather play a home game against New Mexico on Root Sports then a game at Ohio St. on ESPN. Im just saying that if given the choice of playing CSU at 11 am on national TV or at 3pm but only brodcasted locally, I'll take the 11 am one.

You clearly don't value a full day of drinking as much as a CU fan should.

I don't mind one morning game a year... it gives the game a different feel... sometimes I don't like to wait all day for my Buffs... plus, I believe we have a very good record kicking off before noon...

You had a 7 month head start. And I'm obviously not sure, but I suspect there are more people who +rep you than -rep you, so I'm fighting a losing battle. I also suspect some stupid mother****ers who don't like me (I don't like you bastards either) are +repping you just to go against me.

My conspiracy theory.

Actually I have 3 right now from you and two greens plus a **** ton of neg rep from Ticket Gate (which I deserved).

From the Daily Camera:

FSN no longer broadcasts in Colorado, but Root Sports televises much of the network's programming and will pick up both games.

With the announcement of the broadcasts also came kickoff times for both games. The CU-CSU game at Invesco Field in Denver on Sept. 17 will begin at 11:30 a.m. Because the Colorado Rockies are scheduled to play at 6:10 p.m. against the Giants that day, Root Sports will air the Buffs game.

Last month, the Pac-12 decided Colorado's game at Utah would be played on Friday, Nov. 25. That game will kickoff at 1:30 p.m. and will also be broadcast nationally by FSN and locally by Root Sports.
