apparently his dad is a nutcase and will ultimately dictate where he goes.

He has had a really weird recruitment thus far. He committed to ASU very early on and has all but backed out that pledge in a little over four months. He will take visits and is going to have offers from most of the Pac-12 when it is all said and done. Really good player, hope his dad is not overly involved.

He seemed to enjoy his visit to NU quite a bit. If the dad stuff is true, would be awesome to see Bo go head to head with another player's dad ala Taylor Martinez.

Hope we can make up some ground here. The timing of the offer is weird. I will say he loses some points with me for having a Pittsburgh rap song for one of his highlight vids.

Does Nebraska ever think they don't have a good shot? They're the golden gods of college football after all.

Lawler looks pretty good, but all things considered, if his dad is an overbearing goober, I'd rather we go hard after some other prospects we're after.

Every prospect favors Nebraska. Sometimes they choose a different player, though. The Nubs always get the guy they want.

Sounds like Washington and Nebraska have the best chances to steal him away from ASU.

Too bad we can't get him for a visit, his sister lives in Denver and weirdly enough friends with me on FB.

Scout shows him as a 4 star (now), high on Oregon St and Wash St (low on NU btw), and with no CU offer. Did he just never have any interest in us at all?

He has two fellow players commited to CU, thought we might have a shot but we've only had the 3 texas wr's in for visits. Seems like they decided not to recruit any other wr's which is strange.

Thought I remembered reading here, maybe Nik, that we might take another WR. I think we were at 20 or so commits at the time that was said. Certainly a kid like this would find a spot.

I agree. Cal has 5 wr's and 3 of them are 4 star guys, we need to bring in some playmakers at the wr position. I know we keep hearing power running game but this team usually ends up passing more than running.
