100 wins in 10 years

So only 6 teams have over 100 wins in the last ten years. Can anybody name them? Think hard about who has been really consistent the last 10 years. Think lots of BCS bowl appearances. Oh and one hint, only 1 team from the SEC.

USC - 103
Texas - 106
Oklahoma - 109
Ohio state - 106
LSU - 102
Boise state - 114

Huh looks like the website I did the totals at was wrong. **** I had the list to.

That's Creebuzz's list so LSU and Texas aren't on it.

Whats your source? Mine is the last 10 years straight up records from Phil Steele.

LSU 102-29
Ohio state 106-22
Oklahoma 109-26
Texas 106-23
USC 105-24
Boise st 114-16

hmm, well one of them is wrong.

I very may well have added them wrong because I checked on the official team sites and LSU and UT were over 100. Not bad that we had a 7-9 record against Texas during the majority of that period.

Technically there are only four teams with 100 wins this past decade. Oklahoma vacated their wins from 2005, and USC vacated wins in which Bush played from Dec 2004 through the 2005 season.

How many of those wins were against complete patsies? IMO, that's why OU is the only notable 100+ wins in a decade entry. They've played some tough, solid teams in the OOC year in and year out. Can't say that for the others as much.

Especially Boise State. What did USC's schedule look like during the 2000's?

LSU didn't have a lot of ISU/KSU/Baylor types during their conference schedules. Just because we made a habit of losing to those teams doesn't mean they aren't patsies.

True and LSU is playing UO in what should be the OOC matchup of the year with both teams being possible NC contenders.

USC doesn't play any FCS or lower teams as well. I may not like them, but they bring it scheduling wise.

LSU has played the likes of Arizona, Virginia Tech, North Carolina and Washington in OOC play in recent years. (Oregon this year)

Ohio State has played Texas, Washington, USC and Miami in recent years.

Oklahoma has played Washington, Oregon, Miami, Florida state, TCU and BYU in recent years.

Texas has played Ohio state and TCU in recent years.

USC has played Arkansas, Nebraska, and Ohio state in recent years

Boise state has played Oregon, Oregon state, Virginia Tech, Georgia and Utah in recent years.

All have played some good OOC teams. Texas Probably the least of them all playing the majority of their OOC games at home against the little Texas schools. Boise has actually played some tough OOC schools, it's their conference that hurts their schedule.

How many out of state OOC games has Texas had since Brown took over? I can only think of Wyoming.
