One of the bright spots of the summer sports doldrums is the yearly release of EA Sports NCAA Football video games that allow college football fans to kill some time until the actual season begins. Last week, EA released the rosters and player ratings for each of the squads featured in the game. While not really all that accurate (especially the ratings), they do give a good idea of how different teams are viewed by then general public and make for some good debate until the year kicks off. My favorite part about the upcoming game is the that the last years Colorado jerseys made the game and they look great.
The Buffaloes 5 highest rated players are:
Rodney Stewart (RB) - 92
Toney Clemons (WR) - 84
Ray Polk (FS) - 84
Paul Richardson (WR) - 83
Brian Lockridge (RB) - 82
See all the ratings after the jump and discuss who is rated too low and too high in the comments.

Feel free to correct me on this below and I can make changes. I know that there are a few more players that have left the team than I listed.

Damn EA was stingy as hell on the freshman ratings. Mustoe a 65? Daigh a 60? None of our CBs even in the game? Crabb a 64? Randomly Justin Gorman a 69.. man it's going to suck to turn that team around in dynasty mode. Going to need an amazing first year recruiting class.

Where is Perkins? He's the captain of our defense and I don't see him listed.

Im a little surprised to see Nobriga out-ranking Major in the linebacking corps... not that I don't think Nobriga can't do it, I think they undervalued Major.. unless he's really good, but simply has low injury resistance that brings his rating down so much... he was definitely better than 79 talent last year before he got hurt.

Ugh, didn't even notice that. They always seem to forget someone really important or undervalue the hell out of people. Then they always overvalue the hell out of people (Nobriga).
