Black out game?

We wear black at home. Why for only one game a year should the crowd wear black? Why not try to have a uniform color of black for all home games?

I just do not see it as that big of a deal. It looks much cooler at night anyway and keeping it to one night a year makes it "special".

i think the black out is a bit lame... id be all for a gold rush...i think the gold t shirts would pop at night

It does look cooler at night I agree but black at all home games would look better than the cluster**** of colors we usually have. At minimum we should have the student section have black shirts, at least they couldn't **** those colors up.

This would be sick...

I love that we wear black for our home uniforms. However, with the sun beating down on the fans wearing black after some drinks, that could be a recipe for disaster. Also, a blackout doesn't show up as well on TV as a gold rush or whiteout. Gold shows up well and is a color that sets us apart (a lot of teams adopt black as a color).

Whatever we do, let's do it well.

Gotta be USC as it's nationally televised and at night, Cal will likely be an earlier game unless there's been an announcement i've missed out on. Plus, Lane Kiffin is such a total tool, we need to make U$C run into a buzzsaw.

A gold stadium during day games is awesome. Reserve blackouts for special night games. The USC game is perfect timing. Cool if you could organize a black student section at any game.

If they can get the damn colors right I'd be all for it.

Creatini- Serious question: Why are you against tradition? You say you want to play a pussy OOC schedule. You say you want to wear black every game. I don't get it.

I'm not against tradition but we don't need to be playing a bitch OOC schedule like you needed to before the BCS as long as your conference is solid. I've always worn black to home games except last year with the student shirt and it seems that there really isn't any tradition to speak of for wearing a certain color for any game except the blackout. Just think it would be awesome to have a all black stadium for every home game and as someone said earlier have a gold rush for the night games. That Iowa picture I posted was for a day-ish night game and it looks badass.

That pic is pretty sweet.
