I'll be doing some writeups for Allbuffs on the fall practices that I can attend. I am interested in anyone's input as to what they would like to hear about.

I plan to focus on:

depth chart moves (who's running with the 1's and 2's)
newcomers progress
coaching observations
Player observations

Please provide any input of things you are particularly interested in and I'll see if I can look for them.

2011. All this class of 2012 on my mind!

It's bad when BCS is catching your errors!

Mods. Please edit title!

I would like to hear about the little things, GPA's, power clean numbers and community service opportunities...oops, that was 2010.

Actually, I am jonesing for some Buff FB news, I'd be glad to read any practice reports....

off topic slightly, but i noticed the practice field now has yardlines chalked on it and the Buffs were in black (O) and white jerseys (D) with shorts this morning. first time they've had on the official threads. getting close.

I can't make it tonight, but I'll be there tomorrow night. I'll be wearing a black "Got Stoudt?" t-shirt and a yellow Buffs hat. Say "hi" if you're there.

If you get a chance would like to know how the receivers and d-line are running and of course db's. Thanks for any info you have, cant get enough info this time of year.

I would be interested in comparisons / contrasts on Embree's coaching style (including his coaching staff) vs. Hawkins coaching style (including his coaching staff).

For any who are able to attend I would be interested to know a few players from each day who seem to be displaying the attitude that the coaching staff has said that this team will adopt. More generally, as camp progresses does this team seem to be adopting more smash-mouth intensity on the practice field than those of the past few years? Also, general cleanliness vs sloppiness of line play (jumps), switching personnel packages, and especially special teams play.

Special teams and who looks good/bad. What kind of added pressure are they putting on the kickers to simulate game day kicks. I think special teams will get us to a bowl or keep us out. Of all the faliures of Hack, and there are more than any of us care to remember, this was the most glaring. It basically got him fired and he wasn't smart enough to figure it out which says everything.

The problem with special teams is that you can't really tell anything until it's game time. Dude could be hitting regularly from 50 yards out in practice, but if he shanks in an actual game, what good is he? I don't think we're going to know anything of value about special teams until they play the first game.

I'm interested in knowing whether they're utilizing the TE, and how the running game is progressing. Are they running hard, or is there a lot of dancing around at the LOS? I figure we'll need a decent three-man rotation at TB this year, so who is performing?

Safeties and cornerbacks - getting torched, or making plays?

Is Obi continuing to make the progress he seemed to be making in Spring ball? He was damn near unblockable in the Spring Game. He spent the entire game in the backfield. Is he sustaining that intensity?

Ill be there tonight and on tuesdays, thursdays and weekends. As our resident Specal teams insider hahaha, i will be focusing watching that a lot but will also give updates of whatever good and bad I am noticing throughout the field.

Anybody know the story on parking in CU campus lots after 5:00? Any parking recommendations for the practice facility?

BTW I'll be wearing my glorious Pac-12 shirt tonight and my buffs hat with a shiny gold brim. Come say whats up.

I'm looking for parking recommendations for the practice facility as well. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
