Afternoon Practice report 8/9

Two words... Tired and sloppy

You could tell the first 2 a day gassed the guys but you kinda have to expect that.

QBs threw a couple passes shorts a few more dropped balls than normal.
Rbs weren't exploding into the hole as hard.
Not much else to report from there mostly the usual P Rich had a couple td's on crossing routes and Speedy had some long runs. I hate not knowing whether to be exited about the offensive play or worried about the defense in those situations.

They did kickoffs today for the first time I've seen and that could be another special teams battle

Castor hit a few good ones but has a tendency to get under it a bit

Oliver has an interesting 2 step approach but just as he is with field goals he is much more consistent than Justin. If Castor cant get some consistency I think Will could take that from him too.

Disappointed that there was no punting this afternoon but I'm hearing that after the day off tomorrow Embo is expected to make a Will Oliver-esque decision on the starter .

Also hearing a travel team will be tentatively announced on thursday as well so that means some sort of depth chart.

What happened to the allbuffs site today? I'm going to either the am or pm practice tomorrow. I'll add any observations I have to a main thread. Besides the Uzo-Diribe scare today in contact practice, I'm a little surprised there haven't been more in over a week of practice. I remember the ACL fiasco a few years ago.
