(any effort to get an update on his injury was a casualty of the AllBuffs outage)

Released from hospital last night, will return to practice as soon as he's fit. Disaster avoided, for now. No more injuries, if you please.

good to know. i heard about that 2nd hand from a buddy who lives in Fam Housing....just said there was an ambulance on the field and they strapped someone to the board.

best to U-D.

we dodged a bullet there, we really need to avoid the injury bug this year since we don't have a week off.

Very similar to what happened with DaVaughn Thornton in the spring. Landed funny and had a stinger/burner, so they were extra cautious. He didn't even have to do an overnight at the hospital.

One thing I have noticed is that while our coaches expect a ton of intensity and demand that players go hard every day, they are also extremely cautious with injuries and really try to look out for the best interests of these kids. I'm sure a lot of that comes from the fact that they have all played or coached at this level (or higher) and have a true respect for the players.

I got a neck stinger once, scared the holy hell out of me. I didnt feel my legs or arms for about 10, 15 seconds, then it came back. Im glad Uzo is ok, any neck injury is scary ****. We need some injury free kharma it seems.
