What are your predictions for some of the bigger games on opening week? Not a whole lot of good ones, but a couple of potentially real good battles particulary UO/LSU and Boise/Georgia.

Heres mine

#3 Oregon vs. #4 LSU @ Jerryworld: LSU in a much lower scoring game than most think.

#7 Boise St. vs. #22 Georgia in Atlanta: Georgia

#15 TCU @ Baylor: Baylor (TCU lost a lot, and Griffen is back for BU)

Fresno st. @ Cal: Cal

UCLA @ Houston: Houston

Colorado @ Hawai'i: Colorado by playing ball control with a good rushing game and putting pressure on Hawai'i QB

South Florida @ #18 Notre Dame: Notre Dame

It really woldn't surpise me if Baylor beat TCU. TCU is going to be starting on awful lot of nubies. I wish there were more games worth watching. Granted, that first week I'll watch anything. I'd even watch a MAC-Sunbelt match up.

I hope UGA beats the crap out of Boise so we don't need to hear about them the rest of the year.

I hope TCU kicks the crap out of Baylor, because Baylor fan deserves it.

Oregon
Cal
Houston
ND
CU

What's the consensus on rooting for the new conference? I used to viscerally root against ALL things Big XII. Problem is, I don't hate any of the Pac-12 teams so I don't know if I want the conf to look good playing OOC or get slayed.

I will always root for USC to lose (unless they are playing ND) because USC fans are one of the worst (ND fan is the worst) arrogant stuck up fans ever.

I will root for UCLA to suck as long as Slick is involved. Once he is fired I will have to re-evaluate my hatred of them.

I will probably root for Oregon to lose because I'm pretty sure they are a big bunch of cheaters.

I will always root for Arizona to lose because their fans are just behind USC as far as dickness.

Don't really have an opinion on anyone else.

I root for Pac12 teams over other conference's teams. However, after that, **** um all.

Don't see anything too crazy happening opening weekend this year,LSU Oregon is sexiest game matchup wise I like LSU,hope Georgia rolls Boise, will keep an eye on Western Mich vs Mich game as its Hoke's debut, and not that I care but I think USF Notre Dame will be Darrel Scott's debut with the Bulls.Wonder if he's in shape?

Aviator:Good question, typically I root for the conference as it helps in the polls after we beat them, but it would be funny to see USC lose to Minnesota and absolutely hilarious to see UCLA lose to Houston

Orange Bowl - yes, I would love for USC to lose to a totally underwhelming team. However, with Minisota in particular - when i was at CU back in the day, my roommate had moved to Colorado from Minisota during his Senior year of high school. Ergo for him, MN was the be-all and end-all of everything. Somehow MN chicks were hotter and more wholesome that CA or CO girls, the people were better, the food was better, the teams were better. It drove me friggin crazy. So I HATE MN.
As for the Pac-12, my uncle who took care of my mom when she had cancer went to UCLA. His daughter just graduated from USC. My dad's sister went to UC Berkley. One of my best friends went to AU. And in full disclosure, I was a signature away from going to USC - I grew up in CA and all I knew was the Pac-10. This is going to be weird.

Auburn? Seems out of place with all the pac12 schools you listed. (and cuz who of A uses the moniker UA.)

I want everybody to lose. But if I have to deal with 1 of 2 teams winning, I will decide based on stupid ****.
