Jefferson done at LSU

Look for Miles to suspend Jefferson for the season, maybe as soon as tomorrow. The other 3 players involved in the fight will probably get suspended also. He can't kick Jefferson off the team for good as he hasn't been charged with anything yet, and still has to be get convicted or found not guilty if it goes to court. Miles ain't no TOM OSBORNE - Jefferson's career at LSU is over. He will join Perrilloux, and other nuckleheads that Miles has dismissed.

before you go praising Miles as a "disciplinarian" or "doing the right thing" versus on the field success....google Prentiss Elliot. Miles had a lot of bad people on his OSU teams, first thing Gundy did was run off a bunch of them. My step-dad's bro is an OSU donor and he says they (Poke fans) breathed of sigh of relief when Les left town.

I know he has a Mac and CU connection, but the guy is hardly Joe Pa.

I don't think this is a fair post. If we were being critical of how ("how" in terms of our speculation) Les Mile's was handling the Shady Bar fight, then we can't switch the criteria of our critique mistream.

He appears to be cutting key players before a big game in this case. What else do you need?

There's also alot of sour grapes about him leaving to go to LSU. Point is he has kicked alot of high profile players off his LSU teams. I'm not saying he's lilly white by a long shot. I and alot of LSU fans have our beefs with Les Miles. He's certainly got some baggage just like everyone else.

fify.

The dude eats grass, in my book, that makes him cool.

all i'm saying is according to people i know (longtime Posse Club members)....Les was prone to look the other way pretty often. now, with a media spotlight...things may be different.

if i was unfair to 77, no harm intended. i'm not a Miles fan based on what i've heard from people who have spent time around him. i can't give him a free pass just because he was an assistant at CU in the mid 80's.

You mentioned Joe Pa - well Larry Johnson starred for Joe Pa, and was run out of KC for spitting his drink in the face of a young lady in an upscale bar here on the Plaza. He did alot of other punk ***** stuff while he was playing for the Chiefs. Chief fans hated him - guy is a total DB. So yes, Joe Pa had his share of thugs. It takes some balls to kick your starting QB off the team right before the 1st game of the season, and this is the second time Miles has done it. I don't think they will beat Oregon because of this, and it will probably cost him a few other games, but LSU football will be better off in the long run without trash like Jordon Jefferson.

Calling someone a thug for spitting on a woman? The bitch probably deserved it anyway.

There's a reason LJ didn't do a thing at PSU until his senior year.

College Football Live reported that the cops took something like 49 pairs of shoes from his apartment, including the pair he was wearing. I don't even know a woman that has that many shoes.

I have to be honest, I was never much of a fan of Jefferson anyway. I actually like the other kid, he actually is accurate when throwing the ball.

I think the Pokes fans in OK are just mad at Les for leaving. He was the OSU coach ONLY coach that could beat OU.

What college "student-athlete" has that many shoes...unless they play at Miami?

FSU has a proud history as "Free Shoes University". It wouldn't be fair to leave them out. :smile2:

Yup, Peter Warrick to be specfic.

As for Jefferson, people shouldn't revise their LSU/Oregon prediction or predictions for LSU's season over him. If anything, the Oregon game is the exact type of game where Jefferson would go like 12/26 for 141 yards and 4 turnovers.
