Suggest a Boulder Bar to watch games prior to CU/Cal...

Can't wait for my first game as a Buffs season ticket holder on 9/10.

I do have some business to tend to prior to kickoff at Folsom...my alma mater, The Univ of Iowa Hawkeyes will be thumping the ISU Cyclowns at 10am.

Where should I watch the Hawks game that is stumbling distance from Folsom?

Go Buffs!

lazy dog will probably be the only place showing the iowa/isu game.

i'm thinking conor o'niell's might put something together for CU the game.

Harpo's might be a good bet to have the game on (Arapahoe Ave). Maybe give them a call. http://www.harpossportsgrill.com/index.htm

Failing that or Lazy Dog, you may find that your best option is to go to the Buffalo Wild Wings in Superior and then head over to Boulder (10 minutes) for the CU game. Chance that the Dark Horse would have the game on too.

harpo's is deceptively pretty close to Folsom. and you can take the creek path.

i think they also have a shuttle on gamedays.

I've done this a few times and it works. Park at Table Mesa Park & Ride. Parking is free. They run a shuttle to the corner of Colorado and Folsom, both drop off and pick up. Costs a couple bucks but not bad. They get you out quickly after the game.

Good point. It's gameday. I'd probably leave 40 minimum to drive, park and walk to your seat.

I'd give it an hour or maybe even 1:15 from Superior. Coming in just before kickoff guarantees you will be parking a good distance away as all the closer spots fill in quickly.
