Soo ummm how about that Punter

RK

UBL
Gonna go ahead and say he was the best player on our team tonight.
Only player to go out there and do his job every time he was asked to.
I really hope I never have to say this again tho. In a perfect world we would never see him punt but I am really proud of what he did out there tonight. Did everything he could to help up win the field position battle.

yall know that if this was a hawk game we give up and lose toledo missouri style. the kids fought. jus gonna take time.

And if the punter doesn't hit a 45+ yarder and give them no return every time we possibly give up 49 pts. He kept us in the game honestly.

Dude, I get that he's your buddy and you're happy for him. I'd be happy for my buddy too, but it's like you're constantly sucking his dick with posts like that. Kept us in the game? He's a punter, he did his god damn job. I'd be a lot happier for him if you weren't constantly e-blowing him.

^^^^ hater. this doode is the most pessimistic person ever. its a team sport homie. jus part of the game. bet you wish we had those 37 yarders gross had.

"But Hansen took back-to-back sacks, forcing walk-on freshman punter Darragh O'Neill, who had kept the Buffs in the game with five clutch boots in the first half, to kick out of his own end zone.
O'Neill delivered a booming 52-yard punt, but the Warriors had an 11-yard return and possession of the ball at the CU 45." Hmm seems like Ryan Thorburn a person who i think understands the game alot more than you thinks he kept us in the game too... I understand you are mad we lost, we all are. But dont be an idiot.

I'm not hating. UBL goes WAY overboard with his praise for his friend. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one here that's mildly annoyed by it.

And while a great guess on your part, you're wrong. I'm glad we don't have Grossnickle in there shanking punts left and right. I'm happy to know that we have a real punter for the first time in a long time.

Im pretty sure everyone would prefer me praising my friend for having a great game to your pessimistic bull****. Seriously you sound like JRK.
If you dont think a punter can make a difference you dont understand football.

Kickers and their friends should stfu and kick instead of bragging about the kickers performance.

Theres a difference between bragging and giving credit where its due. Wonder what the conversation on this site would look like if Tyler and the O-Line did their job as well as Darragh did tonight. We would be 1-0.

Alright. Because I totally said that. He's our team MVP because he did his job, awesome. What more do you want from me? I also don't want to be too upset that our hopes for this season were pretty much just shot down in flames, but hey your buddy had a good game. All is well.

Firstly, it's their* job, can't we get some new members that know how to differentiate between there, they're, and their? Secondly, I already acknowledged he did his job. I'm happy for him. I wouldn't call him having a nice punt when we're backed up the team MVP, but whatever. Most decent college teams have a punter that can do exactly what Darragh did, but since we've put up with garbage the last few years, apparently I'm supposed to do a backflip because we finally have one. There's a reason kickers are known as being the position with the least gratitude. It's expected that they do their job and they don't get the entire team doing cartwheels for them, they're just supposed to get it done.

so you expected after just 9 months of the new coaching staff for everyone to be perfect and do their job? you expect a lot. dont front on me cause you been on this site longer you blogging f***. glad to see you been spreading the pessimism since 2008.

Man you guys should probably go freak out on the DC for being on Darragh's d***. Oh wait maybe they just understand the game more than you. Sure im Biased because my best friend is the subject. But if you dont want to take my comments seriously look at other peoples points of view, he kept us in the game tonight no doubt about it.
"Darragh O'Neill, the most inexperienced football player on the roster, calmly kept the Buffs in the game against Hawaii in the first half.
The former Fairview High School basketball standout averaged 44 yards on five punts, including a long of 56 yards and three downed inside the Warriors' 20-yard line.
If not for O'Neill's right leg, the Buffs would have trailed by more than the 17-0 halftime deficit they faced on Saturday night at Aloha Stadium."

Hmm thats sounds alot like what I said... But I'm just a friend what do i know.

dude. you know you are asking for it right? Like, real bad? bending over in front of bcs bad? I refer this thread to Wyo Buff.

Damn, well if it's in the DC, then it must be true. Those guys know their football.

No bbads, I did not expect everyone to be perfect. Yes bbads, I expected people to do their jobs. Is that asking too much? I'll be sure to lower expectations accordingly in the future. I apologize for fronting on you.

Do you realize that last year with Hawkins we beat Hawaii by 20 points?

Regardless you really want to give credit to Embree because we didn't get blown out? Last I checked we should be beating unranked teams from the WAC and if we are going to lose we certainly shouldn't be patting ourselves on the back because we "only" lost by 17. Seriously get off of Embree's d*ck.

why does everything think hawaii sucks. we traveld 3000 miles. nevada lost to them last year in hawaii. nevada beat boise last year. i know we beat hawaii last year but at home is a different game with a different team.

im sick of losing to. its just going to take time and patience and more importantly support
